Site History

Well, I started Rob A's Website on AOL Hometown's Easy Designer and I knew nothing on HTML. After realizing that AOL's website builder was awful I then discontinued the site. Then I heard about freewebs.com from a person in school. I then decided to remake Rob A's Website with freewebs.com. Unlike most people I didn't start in beginner user. I started in advanced user and was just dumfounded. Since, I didn't know the first thing about HTML I didn't know what to do. Then with the help of a person from school I was able to figure the basics on HTML and start my site. I picked up my layout from the-apcc.com. My site was up and running at freewebs.com/runnerskier, but then I was hacked by someone that I thought was my friend. So, then I decided to rebuild my site but was too depressed to do so since my dog had died the day my site was hacked. The next day I built up the courage to make a new site and I added a page for my dog in her memory. My site was now located at freewebs.com/roba5263, with very little content. Over time I would start to make new pages and my site got bigger. Then I decided that I really didn't like having such a long URL address. I heard about domain names but my parents wouldn't buy me one. So I then made another account at 50megs.com so I would have a shorter URL. The new URL was roba.5u.com but it was such a hassle always trying to transfer all my info over to that account. They I then heard about free URL redirection. And I decided to give it a shot. I started out using dot.tk with rob-a.tk as my URL. But then I realized what a bad service dot.tk offered. I searched around and found co.sr and they had a pretty good deal so now my URL is rob.co.sr. Then I kept getting many complaints about my layout so I got a new one from mewstarisland.com which was pretty good for awhile. I added back buttons to the pages so I didn't have to put the layout on every page. Then I picked another layout using iFrames from danmanonline.qn.com, so know the Navbar was on every page. Soon after that, my domain service co.sr started to become unreliable. So I got another new link and now its rob.us.tc, and Rob A's Website is still and will continue to grow!
