THE LEGENDARY MISSINGNO
We have all heard of the legendary Missingno. That odd pokemon virus that pops up in pokemon games. I will now go over some basic info on Missingno.
Missingno In Pokemon Red/Blue
This is the Missingno found in Red/Blue.The best part of Missingno in Red/Blue is of course how it gives you 128x of the item in the 6th pocket. My personal favorite item to use is the rare candy. There are other advantages too, like how you also run into a couple of other pokemon that are usually around level 150. These pokemon that show up are called the guardians of Missingno. There purpose is to protect Missingno from you. To determine what other 2 pokemon will appear depends on your name. If you have a certain name you can end up having mew and mewtwo as the guardians! Missingno also has a brother, known as 'M' or M Block. 'M' usually appears at level 0 and if you catch 'M' snd give him a rare candy he will evolve into Kangashkan. If you catch Missingno or 'M' there is a chance that your game will restart or you wont be able to save. Also, there is a chance that many graphics will get screwed up. A strange thing about Missingno is that he is a bird/normal type pokemon. Notice that he is part bird (not flying...bird). He is the only bird pokemon. Also, he only knows 3 attacks: water gun, water gun, and sky attack (yes he knows water gun twice). He can also learn a few TMs and HMs. To catch Missingno is red/blue go viridian city and talk to the guy that teaches you how to catch a weedle. Let him show you how then fly to Fushia City. Then surf to the Seafoam Islands and on the right side of the island, surf up and down until you run into Missingno or "M'. He will appear as #000 in the pokedex.
Missingno in Gold/Silver
Yes there is a Missingno in Gold/Silver versions. But when you catch him there is a 100% chance that your game will be glitched forever. So I reccomend that you do not attempt to catch him unless you care less what could happen to your game. Missingno in Gold/Silver is #252, 253, 254, or 255 depending on what code you use. There isn't much info on the Missingno in Gold/Silver. For the code you must have a gameshark. Type in 01fcedd0 or 01fdedd0 or 01feedd0 or 01ffedd0. Then just go in a patch of grass and he will appear.
