I am a happily married 40-year old school teacher/athletic director and have two boys, Sammy 9 and Jack 6. With all I have going on at work, I still try and find time to dabble in cardboard.
Most of the time I prefer trading by book value (except prospects), but I also like to use eBay as a reference if a card is "hot". If you don't like that, or think it is a double-standard, feel free to not deal with me. I don't know of anyone who will trade a card at book value when it SELLS for that.
Also, whether I pulled the card or bought it, I will have "X" amount of money invested in it. If I put a BV or SV on a card that you think is too high, figure that I must have that, or close to that, invested in the card. Don't be a jackass with my prices and I won't be a jackass with your prices. I do not plan to give my cards away and do not plan on you giving your cards away either.
If you don't see anything you would like to trade for, please e-mail me if you want to sell. I actually prefer buying over trading if you have something I really want. I have interest in some baseball prospects, but my main wants are hard-to-find, high-end cut autographs. Here is a list of autographs that would interest me:
