My mom, Jennie. She is the greatest. I think in the while since my sister's gone on her own and moving to a new place and me going through high school, we have gotten closer than ever. She's had many of the experiences I had when it comes to friendship, love and school so I usually go to her for advice. She has always encouraged me to try my best because what I leanred from her is you get the best results even when you only try your hardest. That is why I repsect her so much. A lot of peers today try to stay far apart from their mothers to become independent, and what I say to that is Pissh Possh! Your mom can be embarassing at times, but just remember who loved you when noone else did. I would never take my mom for granted, and I am very proud of her for all the wonderful things she has accomplished.
My Second Mom, Toni. She ain't by blood, but by bond and souls we are alike and insane lol. :) That and she considers my mom as her sister now. Toni is a very kind soul. She has been through a lot, and I mean a lot, and still is hanging in there. Like us she has her bad days, and like us she has her good days. She is a very wise and powerful woman like my mother. I really care about her. She also loves my quirky, filthy humour and anyone who loves that shit (no pun intended) is kick ass in my books. You should meet her sometime. She can give a great impact on people too! Even my friends think she's awesome :D Toni, I love you and remember: you will always kick ass at everything you do.
My Adopted Sister, Shelley. Known her for a few years now, since Alateen got started. Great person, lots of life and love in that girl. She knows how to talk to you when you're really troubled, and knows first hand herself what its like to deal with a lot of shit at once. A girl who can relate. She's been through a lot growing up, but she's got the best family and extended family in the whole world to pull her through. I love you tons Shelley! Currently in 2006 she got pregnant and is expecting her first born to be out and about Late October, early November. So yeah I am being called "Aunt Becca" now lol. It's awesome I can't wait!
My Nephew, Wes. He was born Halloween night 2006 at around 11pm. He may not be blood related to me, but he is my nephew, and an adorable one at that! Congrats again to Shelley and her hubby Matt for bringing such a ray of sunshine into this world. So far he's learned, making noise is fun! :D I couldn't agree more lol. I hope to be a large part of his life and the world is a big place...so he'll need a crazy aunt to laugh at it all :D
My Brother, Dave. Okay, so he isn't my brother by blood. He's technically my brother in law. But still...we are closer now than we were. I think of him as a brother because he's sweet and listens to me, even if some of what I say does not make sense. I always wanted a brother, and he fits the description. We're both finally starting to see eye to eye about some things now that I am older and can talk to him on a deeper level. It's obviously different now since he's no longer with my sister, but honestly he is better off (no offense carrie). I wish for him the best in life and hope he goes to Japan again because me wants to go too! :D
My dad, Dennis. He's not around anymore. He passed on November 10th, 1996 from health problems. He wasn't a well man having more than one complication which shortened his life span. He still is greatly missed after all this time. From the time I did remember him, he was an honest working man who helped people that came to him for his skills in law and estate, that was stubborn in both good and bad ways (I can see the genetics of that within me ^_^ lol). I do wish at times I had the chance to get older as he did and learn to understand him more. I was only 10 and a half when he passed, so remembering him is not as easy. I do carry on some of his traits and if he were here still today, I know he would be very proud of who I came out to be.
