I am thinking about keeping doves for the first time and have found your website very useful. Would you recommend any particular books that would provide further reading?

Also, I was wondering if I would be able to house doves in a small garden shed (6'x4'), if it were to be modified.

I look forward to your advice.

Thank you so much for putting this information up here . I used the info when I was starting out with my Dovecote . Four years on my doves are thriving [too much sometimes ] . Now we have had a rotten summer and they were looking very sorry for themselves .:puke: I looked at your site again as my vet doesnt know what is wrong . I think they have Coxy and will try treating them for that . I keep grit and red mineral available they dont seem to take any salt , would this be normal ?

thanks again

Hi, really enjoyed reading website but could you please give advise on foxes? I had 3 bantams which fox took, I have spikes on fence, fox proof house (so I thought), mirror and fox alarm which should scare them away, would it be a mistake to try and keep chickens or ducks in the future?
