Riverdale

(The trade school's outline is a modified version from the one in Apple Valley. It has been modified to fit the sims of the Riverdale community.)

Bidwell Education Center was established on Sim Day 35. It was created to provide a place of learning for both teen and adult alike, who wish to further their education, but do not wish to attened college. Teenaged students will move to Bidwell the remaining four days of their youth, and will graduate before adult hood. Each course will last four days, and upon completion the sim recives a deploma stating that he/she has graduated the trade school.

Each class is taught by a qualified sim skilled in the chosen course.

Business

• Specilizing in cash registering, restocking and sales

Cosmetology

• Specilizing in hair design and manicuring

Culinary Arts

• Specilizing in a chef de cuisine or pasty chef

Health Services

• Specilizing in Nursing Assistant or Crime Scene Investigator

Mechanics

• Specilizing in robotics and mechanics

Students will build skills in the area of the trade they are studying as well as participate in classes in relation to their field of study.

Business

• General knowledge in charisma, and student will choose to study either registering, restocking or sales.
• Graduation Requirments: All students are required to obtain sufficent knowldge of Work (5 points) and must past the exit exam with at least a silver badge in their choose trade.

Cosmetology

• General knowledge in creativity and cleaning and student will study hair styling or manicuring.
• Graduation Requirments: All students are required to obtain sufficent knowldge of Fashion (5 points) and at least a silver badge.

Creative Arts

• General knowledge in creativity and student will focus on toy design.
• Graduation Requirments: All students are required to obtain sufficent knowldge of Toys (5 points) and must past the exit exam with at least a silver badge.

Culinary Arts

• General knowledge in cooking and cleaning and choose between chef of pastry chef.
• Graduation Requirments: All students are required to obtain sufficent knowldge of Food (5 points) and must submit their best dish to be judged.

Health Services

• General knowledge in charisma, logic, and cleaning student will choose to study either CNA or CSI
• Graduation Requirments: All students are required to obtain sufficent knowldge of Health (5 points) or Crime (5 points) and must complete a 5000 word essay on dangerous microbs (CNA) and complete a lie detector examination (CSI).

Mechanics

• General knowledge in michanical and student will choose between robotics or mechanics
• Graduation Requirments: All students are required to obtain sufficent knowldge of Sports (5 points) and must pass the exit exam with a least a silver badge.

General Entrance

• Only seven sims will be allowed to enroll at Bidwell at one time.
• Students entering from High School must have at least a GPA of a C+ to enroll.

Certified Nursing Assistant Program

• Students intrested in the CNA program must have a GPA of a B+ to enroll.

Interhood applicants must submit an Application for Admissions.

Cost for an education at Bidwell is $4000, this includes the entrance and application fee, tuition, room and baord and, diploma. (does not include textbooks)

Financial Help is available for sims who qualify

All fees and tuition are due before the student starts classes. If payment is not recived then the sim cannot start school.

Bidwell is located near the ehart of downtown Riverdale. It's in walking distance to the art gallery, museum, and other local recreational places, as well as great places to eat.

First stop is the cometology class room. Here students will learn the art of the perfect up do, and olacing a false nail correctly.

Next stop is the state of the art medical and CSI lab. Here students will learn how to administer the correct dosage of medical, draw blood, or preserve a crime sceen.

The culinary class room. The main focus of this room will be on making delectable dishes for future restuarants.

The mechanical department, focus will be on robot building as well as mecnics.

The open cafateria is sure to have something for everyone.

Dorms are decorated with the basics, but students are encouraged to make teh space their "own" for the time they are there to study.
