River Bottoms Ranch is located in the Mississippi Delta of NE Arkansas.  We are in the bottom lands of several rivers hence the ranch name.

The ranch has slowly been growing ever since I was a little girl. A growth spurt began in 1998 when I found ebay. I regular big boom happened when I met my husband. His love for real horses helped my collection grow.

We first went to Breyerfest in 2000. Big mistake! We came home with over 50 new horses. It wasn't any better at Breyerfest 2001.  Same story with Breyerfest 2002.  At least in 2002, some of them were minis.  Needless to say, room is a rare commodity around here. 

Things have started to slow down. I have caught the resin and china bugs!  Some of the plastics have been sold or traded off. I was sad to see them go, but I know they went to good homes.  I'm really into Animal Artistry's resins and especially  chinas! I'm really addicted to the AA Friesian mare.   

Besides many model horses, mules, and various other plastic, resin, and china animals, we have two dogs and two cats. Our Boxer, Tucker, will turn 4 this Feb. His little Dalmation sister, Gracee, is always right on his heels. Our oldest cat, a Siamese named Clyde, rules the ranch. The lazy guy of the ranch is Avery Job aka Fuzzy Dumpling.
