Rising Stars is an enriching In-home preschool .  At Rising Stars Preschool your child can learn and develop to their maximum potential.  Here we provide a loving environment and the materials necessary to develp spiritual, social and cognitive skills.  We promote self confidence, independance, and responsibiltiy, while in a warm, caring, and safe environment.  Rising Stars Preschool recognizes that children are unique individuals and the importance of a quality early childhood education program.  We have established a place where your child can play, learn, and interact with children their own age, and you can have piece of mind knowing that they are safe.  

All aspects of childhood growth follows a pattern, but all development is at the individual’s own rate. Children learn best through play. Therefore, our task is to provide an environment and a curriculum, which are developmentally appropriate for young children, and flexible enough to meet their individual needs. This type setting provides opportunities for children to develop to their full potential physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually.

Research shows:

Involvement in quality childcare, preschool, or pre-kindergarten programs can improve academic outcomes for children in Kindergarten.  Nationally, children who attend high quality programs tend to have better pre-academic and language skills than other children who did not.  Children who spent time in a high quality program also performed better in math and reading in the early grades of elementary school.  One long term follow up study of very high quality care and early education, the Abecedarian project, found that children who participated in high quality programs from a young age to Kindergarten were more likely than those who did not to eventually attend a four year college and score higher on measures of academic and intellectual success and were less likely to have a teen pregnancy.
