Wayne Box - Goalkeeper - 27 years old - shirt number 1.

Wayne joined Rides Utd 4 seasons ago, and immeditely made an impact on the 1st team, one of the best shot stoppers in the league, and a right foot that will outkick ANYONE, some solid performaces throughout the season generated interest from some other top local semi pro sides, however Wayne believes that success is imminent at Rides, and Wayne will look to spearhead the 2005/2006 campaign. Wayne won the Players Player of the year trophy in his first season, and last season Wayne took home the Players Player of the year award.

Lea Claridge - Centre Back - 34 years old - shirt number 5.

Lea has been a member of the Rides Team for a number of years, perhaps the most experienced player on the team, Lea is a consistent stay at home defender. Very useful from set pieces, Lea can also double up as an attacking player when required, and his aerial ability is always a threat in and around the box. Rides will be looking to Lea to command the back four this year.

Mark Brown - Centre Back - 21 Years Old - shirt number 3.

Last seasons player of the year as voted by his team mates, Mark has gone from strength to strength over the years. His aerial ability and tough tackling make Mark a consistent and strong defender. Mark likes to get forward whenever he can and he will be a threat at corners this coming season. A no nonsense approach to his tackling means Mark is a constant thorn in the oppositions side, Mark is also a great man marker and kept quiet a number of top forwards last season.

Lee Partridge - Left Back - 18 Years Old - shirt number 4.

Lee was a fringe member of the first team for much of last season, but towards the end of the campaign put in several good performances which have helped Lee secure a place in the starting XI for next season. A solid defender, Lee likes to get forward down the left side and will certainly be among the scorers next season. Lee has good pace and good aerial ability, and will only get better the more he plays. A very exciting prospect.

Chris is one of the most consistent performers for the team, week in week out Chris puts in 110% effort and is a real asset to the rest of the players. Never one to back out of a challenge, Chris is a strong, capable and very skillful player who, when in front of goal wont need a 2nd invitation to have a crack at the target. A regular on the scoresheet, Chris will be looking to attack the oppositon defenders with pace and skill.

Kelvin is a Rides favourite. Although still only 22, Kelvin's football is way beyond his years. An intelligent, strong, skillful midfielder, Kelvin is the complete package. Another regular goal scorer, Kelvin is able to use every part of his game to better the performance of the team, and is widely respected by team mates and opposition players alike. Kelvin was last seasons Captain and certainly didnt let his performances on the pitch suffer as a result of the extra responsibility.

James Hemmings - Centre Midfield - 25 Years Old - shirt number 7.

On his day James could be more at home in the pro leagues. With the ball at his feet, James likes to run at the opposition, and certainly has the skill to do it. When someone posseses a shot as hard as James, it is no wonder that he likes to have a go from all sorts of ranges, and the results of these long range efforts were there to see last season. Another player who is not scared to get involved in the physical stuff, James is a complete midfielder and is not afraid to speak his mind!

Kieran Lamb - Attacking Midfielder - 23 Years Old - shirt number 17.

Kieran joins Rides from Chalfont St Peter who were in Div 1 of the Ryman League. An exceptional midfielder, with the ability to use both his right or left feet to devastating effect. Kieran will be instrumental in the bid for promotion this year, having played to a very high standard at his previous club. Kieran is deadly from set pieces, and Rides will be looking to Kieran to lead by example in the forthcoming season. On his day Kieran will easily be the best player in the league.....

Darren Purbrick - Centre Midfield - 30 Years Old - Shirt number 8.

Darren joined Rides half way through last season. Having played semi-pro football previously, Darren immediately gelled with the players around him, often taking charge during games. His aerial ability and vision are Darrens main assets, although Darren is also very useful at set pieces. Having missed much of the close season training through injury, Darren is well on the way to recovery, and will be fighting fit and raring to get his teeth stuck into pre season training as soon as he has recovered.

Carl Barrie - Centre Forward - 23 Years Old - Shirt number 9.

What a find Carl turned out to be, top scorer this season, 2nd top scorer last season, and way beyond his years in terms of skill and experience. Many top teams have offered Carl the chance of better football, his friends and football team mates are very grateful for his presence on the park of a Saturday afternoon! Carl has the ability to win matches, destroy defences and leave keepers in despair, he posseses one of the hardest shots in the league and most opposing teams fear his every move.
