The Halter Horse

The Straight Stock Halter Horse was first introduced by Brandy of Quartex Halter Horses in December of 2006. Since their introduction a number of players have become involved in this competitive sport.
The Straight Stock Halter Horse is bred, trained and conditioned specifically for exhibition in conformation or Halter classes. They are not riding horses nor were they ever intended to be.

          The Riata Stock Halter Registry is dedicated 100% to fulfilling the needs of you and your Straight Halter Stock horses.
Please browse the site to become familiar with all of the services available to you including Stallion Alley and Horses For Sale. Also, please read the detailed rules on the RSHR Rules page and if you have any comments or concerns please feel free to bring them to the attention of your Registry.
I am excited to announce that ten months after the opening of the RSHR we now have nearly 200 registered horses and are growing steadily.


RSHR Sanctioned Shows                                                                 

          2008 Approved Shows: The RSHR has Sanctioned multiple shows starting January 1st 2008 and we are always willing to back a new Straight Stock Halter Show to our list.

         RSHR Sanctioned Shows: The RSHR will be glad to sponsor and award points towards RSHR Awards and Titles for shows held by RSHR Members. Please contact the RSHR for details.
