Halter Incentive Program                                                                     

          HIP was created by the RSHR to promote Straight Stock Halter Horses and in-game breeding itself. HIP is also intended to increase showing and pride in exhibiting your RSHR horses. It is a way to promote stallions ability to produce champion level offspring and to earn cash for showing your Enrolled Weanlings. For more information read below.


More About HIP                                                                                                      

          For every point your HIP Enrolled Weanling earns in their weanling year by winning or placing in the Open Halter Division in RSHR Monthly or Sanctioned shows you will earn additional cash. Cheques will be mailed out when the season finishes and points are tallied.
Every season the RSHR will award additional titles and awards to a number of top winning and placing HIP Nominated stallions and their HIP Enrolled Weanlings.

          HIP awards Cash to Enrolled weanlings only. Nominated Stallions do not earn HIP cash but in order for their foals to partake in HIP studs must be Nominated annually.


Stallion Nomination Information                                                                  

         
1. In order for a stallion to be eligable for Nomination in the Halter Incentive Program (HIP) he must be RSHR Registered.
2. Stallions must be Nominated and Paid Up annually by their owners. One annual fee covers the stallion for all foals born in that year.
3. Fees from the previous year run out December 1. Stallion owners may Nominate their stallion for HIP for the following year as soon as a post announces that Nominations are Open.
4. Both Created and Game-Bred stallions will be approved.
5. Stallions must be 4 years old in order to be Nominated for HIP.

Weanling Enrollment Information                                                               

         
1. In order for a weanling to be eligable for Enrolment in the Halter Incentive Program (HIP) their sire must be Nomiated and Paid up for 2009 (You may check link above - Current 2009 HIP Nominated Stallions).
2. HIP is for Game-Bred weanlings only.
3. For a weanling to be HIP Enrolled they must be/or int he process of being RSHR Registered.
4. HIP Enrollment opens on January 1st and is due June 1st 2009 (before the foal turns 6 months old). No forms will be accepted after June 1, 2009.
5. HIP Cash and Rewards are only available to foals in their weanliing year.
6. If a foal is aged before the end of 2009 they will loose all eligability to collect cash.
