Riata Pony Association

The Riata Pony Association was founded with hopes to promote the smaller horse here at Riata. We aim to help our wonderfull ponies reach new heights in their chosen discipline and to raise awareness of just how great these little equines can be. Whether it be a childs first fun pony to a champion dressage pony these little guys can really shine, and will always be a favourite in many horse-lovers hearts. All breeds will be welcomed with open arms, if your pony is under 14.2hh, they have a place here in the Riata Pony Association.

16 April 2006 - The Association has changed hands and is now run by Ems. We would like to congratulate Elise on a great job and we are sorry that she is not able to run it anymore. Registrations are now being accepted so please go ahead and register your ponies.

The studbook will be opening shortly to pure bred and part bred ponies of 50% or more. The association strives for both purity in our show ponies, and reliability in our childs ponies, so both purebred and partbred ponies will be currently accepted into the studbook. For more information on how to submit your stud pony or public brood, please refer to the studbook section of the site.

The date of our next show - RPA Opening Show, will be advised shortly and will be open to all registered ponies. To register to compete in further shows and be a part of the showing points system, please refer to the registration section of the site.
