News update!!
Hello/Welcome back to RhythemPoets! This is my small corner of the world dedicated to destroying the literary world, one word at a time. At the moment, I'm in the middle of hosting the Twilight Smut Write-off, where each contestant writes a sex-scene for the readers, I post them, you guys vote, and the winner gets something. Gets what, I don't know. I'm working on finding something. Maybe I'll send you one of my extra copies of The Shinarca Legends (There's only something like 10 of them printed up. Very limited edition! I'll even sign it, if you want). Maybe not. If you want to join in the fun, check out the page and fill in an entry form. Then get writing!

Hey, everyone, Mythic here.

Well, this is RhythemPoets, the little site that my friend Erin, a.k.a. Shiggy, created all the way back in 2005 (Forever ago!) to house our stuff. We were right in the middle of our explosions of inspirations, and we - at least, I - wanted somewhere that I could put all my stuff that would survive a dead computer and all that. And it has, because I would have lost Hallowe'en Poem and Christmas Poem had I not started this site.

So, what do we have in here, you ask? Well, we have 2 of Shiggy's poems, on her page, which is here. Then, as you can see, all my stuff is on this page, listed below. Just click on the titles of the works to view them. They're links to the works themselves, some with introductions, some without (I'd put in my illustrations, but I can't work out how.). The Harry Potter fanfic and the Holly Bible, and eventually the Twilight Smut, links lead into an index so you can find the right chapter quickly - none of that searching your way through a whole document stuff! I'm all for taking the lazy way! *crowd roars in approval*

So, just who is this writing nutcase calling herself Mythic Writing?

Funny you should ask that. I'm not as sure about that as I used to be. My name changes depending on who you're asking. I live in Australia. South-West Sydney, if you know your Australian geography. I'm currently in University, studying a Bachelour of Arts at La Trobe, hoping to get into the Australian National University next year, in the ACT. (I also suffer from use my diagnosis of Schizophrenia to create characters, especially I need to kill one off. Nothing shuts them up like a death threat in written form. ^^)

My fellow Uni students constantly ask me how I find enough time to write all these things, keep my site running (vaguely) and manage to complete (and pass) all my assignments. Well here's the secret: Only pay attention to what you want to do. I do very little for the subjects I don't want to do, and put all my effort in the ones I do want to - History, English and my stories, and nothing-to-little else. Bugger all if I do anything else.

But how do I find the time to do all that? Well, for one thing, I only have to look after myself and my dog. I have the time to do bugger all, as I don't have any high responsibilities. I don't have a job (no, I'm not a dole bludger) so that doesn't eat my time. I don't have a car so I'm not always taking it in to be repaired, or working to afford to run it. I write as I walk, usually in my head, sometimes out loud, and I walk everywhere. In short, I utilize the large amount of time I have to the end, and mainly to write.

I'm well on my way through the Vampire Trilogy, completely de-Twilighting it. I stil haven't finished the last one (The Vampire Murders), so if anyone wants to give me a kick on that one, much appreciated. I've yet to work out how to get Morgan and Alyssa to make up after Alyssa's death-and-rebirth, and how to keep them surviving the Elders' purging of the Angel-Walker coven. I hate vampires that refuse to aid me in their own lives.

Also note, some of my stories have swearing in them (in particular, the copy of the Holly Bible springs to mind as being particularly vulgar), so just beware on what you're reading. Also, there are no sex scenes in most of the stories (Twilight Smut is the only exception to this - both versions (Gay & Lesbian Chapters) include graphic sex). Be careful what you read. I don't believe in censoring writen works, so make your own decisions based on my warnings.

Take care,
Your faithful writing nutcase,
