Tears
My tears are falling beyond my control
For reasons I have no clue
They fall to the ground like silent drops of rain
Unheard
Left to dissolve into something hard and hateful
To destroy the heart so full of love
Left all alone and weeping
To stop these teardrops would be an answered prayer
Crying out for help
A hand
A heart
To wipe the saddened moisture from the skin
To comfort and love
To understand and accept
To banish all this pain that continues to linger in my soul
To help me find my happiness once again
My heart
My life
My love
My reason for being
Stop the tears

Rose Petals
Rose petals blowing in the wind
off to a destination unknown
the sweet scent of its perfume following
carefree and gracefully
The air gently glides the beauty far and away
Not giving it time to rest or wilt or die
Always on the move
Always experiencing something new and exciting
rose petals forever in motion
never stopping to get bored or lonely
with the sweet aroma following close behind
Rose petals linger
