Rhody Riders is the longest running club in the state of RI. It is currently affiliated with Carousel Horse Farm in Sterling, CT, and meets the first Friday of each month at the Jordan Community Center. Rhody Riders is an active group! Our members have attended state and regional leadership conferences, the National 4-H Conference in Washington DC, ridden as members of the RI State 4-H horse team at Big E, done community service work at the new England Center of the Big E, collected over 2000lbs of animal feed for the hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, donated over 500lbs of animal feed to the RISPCA, achieved County Medals for their project work, and just had a great time doing it all!

You do not need to own a horse to join us. Members who own project animals work on their own at home, and meeting are spent organizing and learning. You can stay very busy and learn a lot with or without an animal! Rhody Riders is always happy to have new members of any age.
