Farah Fath....

Born in Lexington, Kentucky, in 1984, Fath grew up with stars in her eyes. ‘I loved being in the spotlight ever since I can remember,’ recounts the energetic teen. Farah began her show business career as a child model at the tender age of five. When she was eight years old, Farah traveled to Los Angeles to participate in an International Model and Talent Convention. The young beauty began competing in pageants at eleven years of age and was crowned ‘Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen’ in 1995. Farah was a National speech Winner in several pageants. Fath juggled modeling assignments, commercials, and pageant competitions with academics, but still found time to be a cheerleader in junior high. Farah’s life changed forever in January of 1999 when she returned to Los Angeles to attend another International Model and Talent Convention; she walked away with a few awards and an agent. Reluctantly, Fath returned to Kentucky to finish her freshman year of high school, knowing that she would return to Los Angeles with her mother that summer to make the audition rounds. In July of 1999, Farah’s agent called with the news that she booked an audition with ‘Days of our Lives.’ Farah landed the role of Mimi on her very first audition in Hollywood. When she isn’t working or spending endless hours in the ‘Days of our Lives’ school room, Farah enjoys shopping, hanging out with her new LA friends, and attending church regularly. Farah’s prized possession is her Cockapoo named Ziggy, who is half cockerspaniel and half Toy Poodle. She unwinds listening to her favorite band, Hanson, and watching her favorite show, ‘Friends,’ starring her favorite actress, Lisa Kudrow. Farah celebrates her birthday on May 1st.

Daytime television newcomer Eric Winter portrays Rex, a young man who has traveled a great distance to Salem, on NBC’s number one daytime drama, “Days of our Lives.” Winter attended UCLA, graduating with a degree in psychology. While in college, and after shedding approximately thirty pounds of football weight, he soon landed an agent and found himself juggling schoolwork and acting workshops with prestigious modeling assignments, many of which took him all over the world. His most high-profile print campaign was for Tommy Hilfiger. Winter has appeared in numerous national commercials, including campaigns for 7-UP and Mitsubishi. He has also guest-starred in several television shows, including “Profiler,” “The Parkers” and “The Andy Dick Show.” In his free time, Winter enjoys playing basketball, hiking, snowboarding, and going to the movies. Born in La Mirada, California, he currently resides in Los Angeles. He celebrates his birthday on July 17th.


Miriam "Mimi" Lockheart
Mimi Lockhart is a spunky, intelligent young beauty and one of Salem’s favourite sweethearts. She started out at Salem High School and became Belle Black’s best friend. Although the two were very close, Mimi spent most of high school living in Belle’s shadow. When Chloe Lane came along, Mimi’s insecurities surfaced and she allowed herself to get caught in Jan Spears’ web. Mimi and Belle grew farther apart and she and Jan conspired to humiliate Chloe at the Last Blast Dance 2001. They exposed Chloe in a cruel way and advertised the Operagirl.net website in front of the entire Dance audience. The girls went to court but were saved from jail time – however Mimi had to spend her senior year cleaning bathrooms at Salem High. While on a summer trip to Puerto Rico with her classmates, Mimi became close to Belle once again and also made a new friend – “geeky” Kevin Lambert. Kevin turned out to be quite the hottie and he and Mimi became very interested in each other. While on the island, they almost went all the way, but ran into an obstacle which prevented them from doing so. Mimi had a crush on Shawn Brady in her younger years at Salem High – and even kissed him while on a trip to Paris. However, Belle and Shawn became closer and eventually became boyfriend and girlfriend. Mimi accepted this and when Belle and Shawn started having problems with their relationship, she put aside her differences to work together with Chloe to get them back together. Mimi and Chloe eventually became friends and Mimi supported Chloe during her terrible ordeal with the discovery of Chloe’s leukemia. She spent time with her boyfriend Kevin, until he went away to college at Stanford. Mimi stayed in town with the rest of the gang and began school at Salem University. When Belle took some mysterious twins under her wing, Mimi had the chance of meeting Rex and Cassie. It soon became obvious that Rex had eyes for Belle and Cassie had her sights set on Shawn. Coming to the rescue once more, Mimi teamed up with Philip Kiriakis to “crush the crushes.” During this time, the attraction between Mimi and Rex grew. She enthusiastically taught Rex the tradition of Mistletoe at Christmastime and they shared their first kiss. At the moment, Rex is pulling away from Mimi. We have yet to see if they become a couple, or if Rex’s mysterious DiMera streak will cause them problems.

Rex DiMera
Rex made a mysterious entrance Salem with his twin sister Cassie. During the summer meteor shower, the two landed in Salem in what appeared to be a spacecraft. Shawn Brady and Belle Black came upon them while at Lookout point on the fourth of July. The twins were half-naked and could not speak, and knew nothing of the world. Belle felt an immediate connection to them and she and Shawn spent all summer trying to care for them and keep them out of trouble. Eventually Belle’s parents and the US government found out about the twins and took them to a facility to be observed and tested. This facility was in the basement of University Hospital where it was discovered that the twins were in fact human and not alien. Dr. Marlena Evans was allowed to work with the twins, and with her help they learned how to speak and how to relate socially to others. Rex and Cassie soon became annoyed with their captivity and were allowed to leave. Tony DiMera took a special interest in them after finding out that they had links to the DiMeras. He became their guardian and the twins moved into the DiMera mansion. Marlena and Belle were upset by this, but could do nothing, partly because of the suspicions that John Black had about the twins. Rex and Cassie wanted to be close to Belle and Shawn and wanted to interact like normal people their age. They convinced Tony to allow them to attend Salem University, where they shared rooms with Shawn and Belle and formed a connection with a certain Professor Putnam – who turned out to be the DiMeras’ Dr. Rolf in disguise. Rolf knew of the twins and was actually a large component of their creation. He has the power to put them under mind control and most likely wants them to work towards the DiMera legacy. Recently, it was learned that Tony DiMera and Marlena Evans are in fact the parents of the twins – making Belle their sister. They have since taken the surname of DiMera and both are again living in the DiMera mansion. Since attending Salem U, Rex’s attraction to Mimi Lockhart became quite obvious. They had fun together at Dot.Com one night where Rex told Mimi she was beautiful. Since then, they have shared some sweet interludes and exciting kisses. As of late, Rex has been pulling away from Mimi and delving deeper into a secret mission, which he vows will blow all of Salem away.
