The 1989 Oxford English Dictionary describes a time capsule as; a container used to store for posterity a selection of objects thought to be representative of life at a particular time.
Mine turned out to be a card board box that I rescued from the garbage at a flea market. That single act compelled me to take a journey in search of the person who saved these precious bits of history. Join me on that journey.................................
Have you ever had the feeling that you were "meant to do something" in this life? That everything you’ve been through was supposed to happen in order to get to a certain place in time for that "event", to receive the "gift" that gives purpose to your life. I didn’t have a clue as to what it was but some how I knew that it wouldn’t present itself until I was older. And the older I got, the closer I felt to it. I’d had that anxious excited feeling for a few years .......like I was on the verge of something magical.........and then one late summer day in August 2004, I rescued "The Box" at the flea market and I knew that my journey to realize my purpose had just begun..............
