***UPDATED July 07, 2009***

***STORE IS NOW OPEN***

Welcome to the TOP END MINIATURES website. TOP END MINIATURES designs and produces aftermarket 1:25th scale resin products for the model car builder and enthusiast. Our primary goal is to provide our customers the best products possible at a price that is reasonable. The focus of our work, at the present time, deals with the cars that compete in the A.D.R.L. (American Drag Racing League), the I.H.R.A. (International Hot Rod Association) Pro Modified and Top Sportsman classes, and cars that compete in similar classes throughout the United States and abroad. Eventually, you the customer, will have the option of purchasing ready-to-assemble kits or choosing the parts that best suit your needs for a model you wish to build. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to contact me at resinslinger@msn.com. Thank you. Christopher Buck.

NEWS

On June 18th, 2009 my mother, Mary Alice Buck, passed away. At the moment everything dealing with TOP END MINIATURES is on hold, including casting any orders that have been placed in the last month or so. If you have placed an order with us, you will get it. All I ask is that you give me the time to get my head wrapped around my mother's death. My head isn't screwed on too tight at the moment. I hope all of you understand. Thanks to those of you that have sent your prayers and well-wishes for myself and my family.

Final prep on the Aero '68 Camaro is almost finished and I should be starting the mold for that body next week. This body will come with two types of rear wings; a P/S style wing that extends off the rear of the body and an airfoil style wing with struts. The first version (P/S wing) should be ready in a couple of weeks or less. I will also be making molds for two new types of hoodscoops that Wayne Stevens Jr. mastered and the molds for the #2 fabricated rear-end and wheelie bars that Mike Burke mastered.

James Carinci of Canada is mastering quite a few items for us. Among those items are turbo chargers, a PG transmission, and a PSI screw blower with a four-door hat. James is a very talented young man and he knows what doorslammers are all about since he is part of a Outlaw 10.5 team. We welcome his talent and look forward to seeing more of his workmanship in the future. Thanks James.

I have been contacted by a young, and very talented, man from Baytown, TX and he is going to be mastering the body shown in the rendition drawing on the "Future Releases" page.

*******ABOUT OUR BODIES******

I have had several customers ask me why our bodies do not include details like rear spoiler spill plates/wicker bills or openings in the hood or why it dosen't look like this car or that car. Wayne and I decided long ago that our bodies would represent the bodies as they arrive at the chassis shop from the body manufacturers (VFN, Cynergy Composites, Hairy Glass), not when a particular car leaves the chassis shop. To do every possible configuration of a particular finished car that you might see would be almost impossible to do. By designing our bodies in this way, it gives you the option of using a particular body as is or modify it to suit your needs. In the future we may design some generic rear wing kits if there is an interest in such items. Chris.
