Repulse was created on July 25th 2006. The founder of Repulse was skater333(Harry) the leader of 1st div and head of all of Repulse. Several members helped create Repulse. AcecA(Ace) a long time member of the RedBandana guild was a friend and trusted member of the guild lead by CrypticSinz(Harry)'s old sin. After the loss of Cryptic RedBandana fell apart. It's two divisions were no more. In the guild created by charlesxp, who was Harry's firemage TheRejects guild was born. Due to the name that many members believed had "bad mojo" the guild was given up on not only due to that but due to the reason that we needed an active leader as Harry previously quit his firemage. TheRejects members decided that it would be not only easier but better for the well-being of the guild for Harry to create a guild where his bandit was the leader. This would prevent Jr.Masters from expelling everyone while if the leader was on a different character it would be too late to stop them when he logged on to the other character account. After a few hours of trying out different names the guild members and leader, skater333(Harry), AcecA(Ace), Nerfs, xaznSinxx(Kenneth), ZinkSlayer, and Advice began to talk about other guilds. We wanted a name that would wow the other maplers. After looking in dictionaries and trying out different names we came up with the name Repulse. It seemed to fit so well. It could mean so many things on so many different levels. Thus, Repulse was born.

Repulse is a guild that respects their members and gives them a strong and trusting guild to be in. We care about every single member and respect what they have to say. Repulse also gives members a chance to win prizes, participate in guild events, meet new people, and most of all HAVE FUN! Repulse has at least one guild event per week. Some of which allow members to win money and participate in competitions. Though we are currently only based in Scania, we will be trying to add guilds to each server to expand our guild wide throughout GMS!

Repulse is not a strict guild but we do have a few rules:

(Some severe actions will result in expelling/suspension of rank or the guild)

1. Do not cuss/trash talk other members.
2. Do not disrespect members.
3. Do not continously taunt/fight with someone. You get 3 strikes.(This will result in a suspension*For Jr.Masters you will be downgraded to your level rank and suspended*)
4. Do not advertise hacking on or guild chat, website, or forum. All abusers will be permenantly banned from the guild and forum.
5. Stay active!(Please tell a Jr.Master or the Leader of your division if you are going to be inactive for over 3 days *If you do not let a Jr.Master or Leader know at the end of the 3rd day you will be expelled from the guild*) 
6. Be aware and if possible attend Guild Meetings(Guild meetings are not manditory. They are mainly for the Leader to get opinions on what should be improved in the guild. *These Guild Meetings will either be held at Guild Headquarters, on the Repulse forum, or on our chat window at the bottom of the main menu* All opinions are open to all members and considered by the Leader.)
7. Participate in guild events.(The Leader and Jr.Masters work very hard to prepare a guild events. They give up their time for you guys! Please, don't let their hard work go to waste!)
8. Stay active on the Site and Forum!(The site and forum are for you guys! They're here so that you can check up on current events in the guild and guild events that will be held later in the week. Don't blame us if you miss out!)
9. And last of all, have fun!( The guild isn't here to make anyone feel sad or mad. If you have a problem with a member please contact a Jr.Master or the Leader. If you have a problem with a Jr.Master. Email or PM the leader directly so he can deal with it.)
10. (New Rule) As our new motto has changed, some of our rules will. You are advised and encouraged to KS, threaten, defame, and crush any of the following guilds: ImpuLse (all re-makes), QuickSilver, and anyone else you want to KS.
    

Ranks are given to members my level. There are 5 ranks, Leader, Jr.Master, 3rd rank, 4th rank, and 5th rank. The Leader rank is only for the leader and only he/she can become that The Jr.Master rank is given to members who have shown an above commitment to the guild and its members. They have donated to the guild countless times, respected the guild, and helped out. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th rank are given to regular members or new members accoarding to their level. 3rd rank is for members Lv.70+. 4th rank is for members Lv. 60-69. 5th rank is for members Lv. 50-59. This will change once we decide to not allow members of a certain level to join.

How do you improve your rank?

It's simple, to improve your rank from 3-5 you have to train! Just keep training and pushing yourself to your full extent and eventually you'll be at the highest level rank!

But what if I want to be a Jr.Master? How can I do that?

To become a Jr.Master you must show exceptional commitment and sense of duty to the guild. You must respect the guild members and help the guild become better. If a division Leader asks you to donate, try to donate! It's okay if you don't donate all the time but try to donate at least once! After all, it's for the well being of your guild!

Why is my profile not up on the site?

Only Jr.Masters and Leaders get their pictures up. I originally allowed members to have them but on 8/1/06 I decided not to allow them to get profiles because some members might leave randomly and then it's just a waste of my time. If you want to complain, complain to the members.

To join either contact the Leader or Jr.Master of the division that is recruiting. Here are the IGN's of the Leaders and Jr.Masters of each division.

Repulse is currently only in Scania so all members who want to join must be in Scania! (If someone would like to create a division of Repulse in another server please contact the Leader of Repulse TrueHermit)

Don't worry if you cant contact the Leader or one of the Jr.Masters! If you see a Repulse member walking around just ask them if they could join and to ask the leader, or just post in our guestbook or quick chat here. You can also reach all members and high ranking officials at our forum.
