RAPE
What is Rape? Rape is having a sexual intercourse without saying "YES". Rape is when you say "NO" but it still happens. Rape is something that can happen to anyone. When people think of Rape, they think of a dark alley way, a stranger, the stuggle. A hyperviolent situation. Sometimes, Most times its not like that. It can be done by someone you know, someone you are in a relationship with. They want sex, you dont. You say No, Im tired, I dont feel like it but they ignore you. They do It anyway. And because you know them. You wait for it to be over. That is rape. It might not have been scary. But sadly, It means rape.
If this has happened to you PLEASE talk to someone. If old memories are coming up PLEASE talk to someone. A Support group, A Professional, Your Parents, Friends or Anyone You Trust.

CHILD ABUSE
Child Abuse is a child put into an adult situation. Actions put upon a child that no child should have to deal with. The child can often be bullied into SILENCE or simply continues to feel confused and then "forgets". If this has happened to you Please talk to someone. A Support Group, A Professional, Your Parents, Friends Or Anyone You Trust.

Victims of rape/sexual abuse/child abuse end up feeling the guilt and shame. Victims of rape think "i asked for it, I didnt say no enough, I didnt scream" A huge range of excuses, because the victim takes the shame on their own backs. A child of sexual abuse takes on the guilt. Feeling it was their fault, why didnt I speak up. A huge range of excuses, because as with rape, the victim takes on the shame.
IT IS NOT/WAS NOT YOUR FAULT!
He/She who hurt you/abused you is in the wrong, You have nothing to be ashamed of.
