The Heart of Corruption

On the eighth day of creation, a man born of both good and evil gazed upon the barren wasteland that had become a fierce battleground. Guided by a lone raven, A bird said to lead the lost, he stumbled upon the forces of good and evil locked in an epic battle to gain their own selfish needs. The great insurrection had begun. The war that would tear the very planet apart was heralded. The universe wasn’t even a ten-day old, and already blood was quenching the desolate earth. The hapless wanderer looked at the carnage these superior beings were creating. The devas and demons were destroying everything he held dear. As a single tear welled up in his eye, he asked a simple question, barely audible under the din of war.

“Why?”

The battle had came and gone to this part of Norrath, and in its wake left the beginnings for a fertile oasis. Plants began to sprout where the bodies of fallen warriors lay. The pools of blood were transformed into fountains of beauty and splendor. The wanderer Built a castle from the destruction and made this his home, adopting the Raven as his symbol, so that he would always remember the corruption in the hearts of all.
