Revolutionizing the industry by changing the standard of beauty

I am a 27 year old plus size model in the wonderful city of Philadelphia. I've participated in a few contests, pageants, photo shoots and fashion shows. I am seeking to build my portfolio (so if you're a photographer in the Philly area and soon updating your portfolio, send me a message). I entered this field not really knowing that it was as vibrant as it was. I've been involved in plus size modeling since April, 2007. That's right, this year. But since I've been involved, I've learned so much and desire to give a platform to plus size women (which now represents the average woman in America in size). Size acceptance has become a passion for and I seek to promote healthy self-love within the modeling industry. Just a little about me...

Our Deepest Fear

* * * Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. * * *
