Dice were a common item in homes in early America and were made in many sized and in a variety of materials. Many board games called for a pair of dice for play although the gambling games so favored at the taverns were known to meet with disapproval from many colonists. Dicing games were so widely popular that soldiers would hammer their lead musket balls into crude dice for playing in camp.
The set includes 3 wood dice and instructions for 2 games.
