"The Boston Baked Bean" is a generic name used throughout the candy industry for sugar coated peanuts.  Ferrara Pan Candy Company developed their line of Boston Baked Beans in the early 1930's, right around the same time that Red Hots were introduced.This collectable container is ceramic, 4in diameter! Yum!
