REJOICE! Performing Arts Studio

REJOICE! Performing Arts Studio (RMPA) was founded in 1996 in Fayetteville, NC.  In it's embryonic stage, it assembled in a gymnasium, other dance studios, and having a studio added on to the founders' home. The studio is currently located at the address listed below.

It is our deepest desire that the arts be used to bring glory to God thru leading the lost out of darkness and into His marvelous light. This is implemented thru minstrel performances year round in Dance, Drama Skits, Singing, Instrumental Performances, and Testimonials being shared by students, staff, and guest artists. 

Our program offers Classical Ballet Technic and Contemporary Ballet Choreography, Tap, Street Dance (Christian Hip Hop), Jazz, Swing, Body Conditioning, Liturgical Praise Dance, Acting for TV Commercials/Drama for Skits, Runway Modeling, Full Drum Set, Classical Piano, Guitar, Vocal Training, and Violin.

"Compete w/Out Compromise (CwOC)" sessions will be held in 4 hour increments  PRIOR to AMTC Talent Search Auditions being held in Raleigh and Greensboro.  This session will prepare you to be your individual best at these auditions. If accepted by AMTC, contestants will go on to National Competition with AMTC in Orlando, Florida (to be held bi-annually [January and July]). To learn more about CwOC, click on "CwOC."

The Founder of REJOICE!  is also one the AMTC Dance Coaches for cities in different states. As of June 2009, eight of our students have gone to these competitions and won Overall Dancer, Finalist for Overall Dancer, Overall Fashion Model, Overall Commercial TV Print., and selected to participate in the Top 40 Showcase.  They are also in the process of signing with or have already signed with Nationally Acclaimed Agents and/or Managers in order to broaden their territory for Christ in the industry at large.

REJOICE! opens  doors to network and participate with a wide range of professional talent organizations. To name a few: Ballet Magnificat!, Dance Revolution, Glory Dance Ministries, Zion Worship, Helen Creggar's Biblical Theatre at Ridgrecrest, North Carolina State Ballet Company, and Wayne Burritt of Boone, NC. 

REJOICE! is a certified user of Ballet Magnificat!'s Dance Syllabus for levels I - V.  The foundation of the syllabus is Aggripina Vaganova Style and Technic. Correct terminology and technique is implemented in every class. 

Core Teams are established from within the RMPA classes and individual lessons.  These teams take the Gospel out to the streets of Fayetteville and surrounding cities thru the performing arts. They have shared the message to as few as 20 in nursing homes, all the way up to 2400 at the Crown Colliseum...but ultimately always  having an audience of One.

There is a recital for vocalist and instrumental students in addition to an end year program. The end year program is tagged with a theme and performed annually in the spring. It serves as a strong evangelistic tool.
