The Intention of Healing:

The greatest work that we perform as channels of healing energy is to touch other souls enabling those souls to find and heal themselves to whatever degree is appropriate at the time.

Each of us has a Spirit- Consciousness, from which to learn experiences through during each lifetime.

This Spirit- Consciousness takes into account all our various bodies e.g. Physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Therefore whatever we (as a soul) are designed to fulfil will be the deciding factor as to how, when, where and how much healing will occur and on what level and levels.

The energy used for healing ourselves and for channelling to others so that they may heal themselves is expressed in ‘intention’. This pure and unselfish act is the highest form of Spirit- Consciousness expression available to us.

When you channel energy to someone else you act as a conduit for the Spirit- Consciousness and the life force that surrounds us.

This energy flows through you into the other person, much as water flows through a hose in your garden. The water nurtures the garden, as well as cleansing the hose it travels through.

When it is channelled like this, the natural healing energies already present around us are intensified and like water finds its own level, Spirit- Consciousness/life force direct themselves to the areas of highest need.

Always remember that healing carries responsibility. We as channels, should never expect to cure others, but rather allow the receivers soul to dictate the level of healing to take place.

The physical level is usually the last level for any sort of healing to manifest.

If healing occurs on the physical this is wonderful, as it means that all other levels of that person are receiving healing. All of us attract dis-ease as a way of learning certain lessons or virtues.

Our soul has the final say as to whether we have backache. Or that cancer, or whether we have learned our lesson thoroughly enough that we can release the pain.

Perhaps a backache is there to tell us there is a more serious problem, and simply alleviating the pain does us no good in the long run. As a channel for energy and the person wanting healing there must be an acceptance of the out come, whatever it may be.

It is always appropriate to the needs of the soul at that particular time and place. Often "feeling better" of a healing is delayed sometimes for several days if not longer. Ideally as a channel you provide a means for Spirit-Consciousness and life force, to be used as the receiver’s soul dictates, while the person receiving the healing energy does so with gratitude and an open mind.

The only expectation that both persons should have is that healing will take place and that everything happens exactly as it should. After a session give thanks for the energy used, this reminds us not to take healing for granted, and by giving thanks this reminds us to appreciate Spirit- Consciousness and life force energies as gifts, reminding us of our integrity and intention.
