Reiki John

I discovered Reiki in 2004 and have been practising since early 2005.  I have recently used the opportunity of redundancy to set up a full-time practice.  (See the calendar page for details of where snd how you can arrange a treatment or book a training course.)

I received my early Reiki training with Reiki Master Hjalmar Jonsson - one of the longest established Reiki trainers in this country - with over 15 years of running Reiki courses.  In September 2008, I completed Master training with him.

I honour the simplicity and power of Reiki and am grateful for the benefits it has given me in coping with insomnia, SAD and depression.  I now give myself Reiki every day and continue to explore the potential of Reiki as a Reiki Master.

In my working life I have spent time as an internal audit manager in large organisations, been a teacher of business studies, run my own consultancy business and worked as a charity adviser.  I have a masters degree in Organisational Behaviour (psychology) and so can offer stress management and coping with change courses for corporate clients.

In 2004 I also discovered the Native American Flute.  Like Reiki this has both great simplicity and power.  I have performed at various celebrations such as welcoming the Full Moon and the 8 seasonal festivals of the pagan year.  If you would like me to play at your celebration, see the flute pages or just contact me.
