The above said American Pit Bull Terrier is sold as a (check one) Pet _____ Show/Weight Pull Prospect _____ for a total price of $______. A deposit of $___________ ($300 minimum) is hereby made and the cash balance is due to Seller before this dog is placed in the Buyer’s possession. Registration papers will also be held until balance is paid in full and $______ for shipping (if required) has been paid in full. The buyer understands that once a deposit is made, it is a commitment to buy said dog and is therefore NONREFUNDABLE. Buyer will forfeit deposit and said dog may then be resold if not paid in full by specified date being _________.

IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY BOTH PARTIES THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL BE MET AND THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.

If this dog has been classified as a PET by Seller, it does not qualify as a Show Quality/ Weight pull prospect dog at this time of sale. This dog is being sold with FULL____ LIMITED____ registration.

(Limited registration means that offspring of this dog CANNOT be registered. A Show Quality/Weight pull prospect is a dog that goes beyond the definition of a Pet/ Companion dog. This dog is not guaranteed to become a Champion of Record, but with the proper care and training on the part of the Buyer and/or Handler, this dog should be a reasonable contender and do well in show competitions/ weight pull competitions.)

If this dog is being sold as a Show/ Weight Pull prospect you agree to have it fully trained, socialized and ready for conformation shows and/or weight pull competition by the time it is one year of age.

Any dog being sold as a Show/ Weight Pull prospect must be entered in a minimum of either 1 sanctioned conformation show and/or 1 sanctioned weight pull competition per year after the dog has turned 1 year of age and as long as the dogs health permits.

Dogs being sold as Show/ Weight Pull prospects may be retired as early as 3 years of age if buyer so wishes. Show/ Weight Pull prospects may not be retired before 3 years of age unless the health of the dog is at risk.

Seller guarantees this is a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier, offspring of the previously mentioned Sire and Dam.

Buyer certifies that he/she is not acting as an agent for another individual in the purchase of this dog, and will not sell this dog to any mass-producing kennel (puppy mill) or business.

If it is found by the Seller that the Buyer is being neglectful in the care of the American Pit Bull Terrier being purchased or is in breech of any agreements stated, the buyer forfeits all rights of the previously mentioned dog being purchased and its registration papers to the Seller at no cost to the Seller. The Seller is allowed to check the status of the American Pit Bull Terrier purchased and take/receive pictures of the dog as desired.

The Purchaser agrees to keep the dog in a proper manner. It shall not be kept permanently in a kennel. If problems arise concerning the keeping of or training of, or if the dog becomes seriously ill, the BUYER agrees to consult the BREEDER.

If it should prove necessary for the dog to change hands, the Breeder has prior purchase rights for a period limited to two weeks at half of the purchase price. Selling to a third party is permissible only after prior consultation with the Breeder, whereby the main consideration is the assurance that the dog is passed to responsible owners. This puppy has been bred by us and has been carefully and painstakingly reared. The parent animals were mated with the aim of breeding good and healthy puppies. Seller guarantees this dog to free of communicable diseases as appears to the eye at the time of sale.

At the expense of the BUYER, this dog should be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of possession to validate Health Guarantee. (If purchased on a Saturday, this requirement is extended through the following Monday.) Should this dog be found in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the Breeder, this dog may, upon written diagnosis from a Veterinarian, be returned to Seller for refund of purchase price (minus Vet. Cost and shipping), or for another dog of equal value, the choice to be determined by Seller.

In the case of this dog being sold as a Pet, the new owner will provide proof of spay/neuter by the age of eight months. Where then Seller will turn over registration papers to the new owner and not before.

It is agreed by Buyer that if this dog is being sold as a show/ weight pull prospect it will not be bred before 2 years of age and will not produce any non registered litters. Nor will this dog be bred to any dog that is not of equal or greater quality.

Buyer releases Seller, Sheila Bridges/ Quincy Briggs and their estate from any and all liabilities, and/or damages by fault of this dog after the time of sale. These damages include, but are not limited to, destruction of property, other pets and/ or physical damage to any person or group of people.

Buyer agrees that they have researched the American Pit Bull Terrier Breed and understand that this dog may become animal aggressive at any age but this does not mean that it will be human aggressive. Buyer understands that animal aggression is normal for this breed but human aggression should never be tolerated and should be taken seriously. Buyer agrees to always continue their research (books, videos, dog shows, weight pull competitions, trainers, other breeders, etc.) on the American Pit Bull Terrier Breed so long as they own this dog.

Buyer agrees to have full control of this dog at all times and to provide escape proof kenneling while this dog is outdoors alone.

Buyer is required to have said dog DNA profiled, Micro chipped and Obedience trained.

If said dog is lost, stolen, or dies Buyer is required to contact Seller within 24 hrs. In the event of the said dog being lost or stolen Buyer is required to not only contact Seller, but their local pound and current Vet.

No other warranties are expressed or implied unless explained by Seller below:
