"Jude? What are you doing here?" Peter said curiously.
"Uhh..Adrianne and I wanted to check out the auditions. But the real question is, what are YOU doing here? I never knew you were a musician." I said back. Trying to hide the hint of flirtatiousness in my voice. teehee.
"Yeah. I've been playing guitar for 4 years now and i do a little bit of singing stuff. Im what you would call a second class rocker. A rocker, but not discovered yet."
Wow. He was so cute, and smart.
"Well when are you auditioning? I'd love to hear some of your stuff."
"Actually I'm on next. Great timing, huh?"
"Yeah! Well Adrianne and I will catch a seat and maybe we can go get a starbucks afterwards."
"Alright. Cool. I'll see you then."
Peter walked away and I looked at Adrianne with awe and surprise. I had actually just held a coversation with the cutest and smartest guy ever! But I knew she didn't care as much as I did. We went to get our seats and waited till it was Peters turn. He came onto the stage and the crowd cheered.
"Alright, this song is called Four Stars. Enjoy. 'You don't see the glimm erin my eyes. When I see you at school and on the street. Are we friends or are we lovers, or are we family? "That was the most beautiful thing ever." I said to Adrianne.
"Yeah, it was good." She replied.

"Mooom! I'm home." I said as I walked through the laundry room.
"Mom?" I said again. No one answered.
I walked upstairs and put my purse on my bed.
"Mom? Where are you?"
I walked down the hallway. This was really scaring me. I went past my parents room and looked in the door and didn't see anything. I walked downstairs and checked the living room, kitchen, dining room, and laundry room. No one. I went back upstairs and decided to check my parents room again. No one was in the main room with their bed. But when I went into the bathroom I saw my dad laying on the floor and my mom next to him. She was bawling. What happened? I thought, and ran next to her. What is going on?
Hey!! I told you this chapter would be interesting!!!! Now you have a cliff hanger!! Haha. Well yep, its spring break and I've been kinda lazy with updating. I definetly won't up date tomorrow [3-22-08] because i'll give you a chance to read thenew chapter or sunday cause it'll be easter. I walked over to my closet and changed my clothes. God, I really needed to go shopping. I decided on a Hollister sweat-suit and my Nike Shox. I skipped down the stairs happily. It was really good being daddy's little girl.
"Where are you going, little missy?" Mom asked curiously.
"To the mall." I replied shortly.
"What are you talking about? I specifically told you no!" Mom shouted.
"I finished my homework. I should be back in 2 hours. Im taking the car. Dont wait up."
It was already 9:00. Our mall was weird and it stayed open till 11. I opened the garage door and grabbed the car keys from the laundry room.

"Hey! I was just about to call you. What took so long?" Adrianne asked curiously as I approached her in the food court.
"Oh, you know, the usual. Momalways has to find SOME way to keep me from having fun."
"Haha. Don't be so mopy. We're gonna have fun tonite. I cant wait to see all the mess-ups at the try out. It's gonna be hilarious!"
Wow, i thought. I would hate to have a girl like her in the audiance if I tried out.
"Okay, well then lets go!" I was really axious to see what a real TV show set looked like.
We walked to Macy's where Instant Star was being set-up. And you wouldn't belive who I saw there.
"Peter's trying out?" I said, totally shocked.
"Guess so." Adrianne said. She wasn't really into guys. She was really sporty.
"Wow. Hes been my crush for years."
Then I got a call from my mom. Oh god.
our song is the slammin screen door. sneakin out late tap-
"Hello?" I said. Hoping mom didnt detect the hint of fear in my voice.
"Judelle Grace King! This homeowrk is not done! You lied to me!" Mom sounded really mad. But she wasnt as mad as me.
"You went through my stuff?? Mom, how could you??" I was furious. What parent does that??
"When you get home we are gonna have a looong talk about this, jude. And don't even think about staying over adrianne's"
"UGHH!! Why do you ALWAYS have to ruin my fun?? Jusdt get a life mom! INSTEAD OF BUTTING INTO MINE!!"
I closed my phone hard. I dont even think you realize how furious I was. But then my mood changed. In and instant.
Hey, guys! I lied about chapter 3 being more interesting. But can you blame me?? Its only the 3rd chapter! Im gonna make an update box on the home page so you can see whats goin on and i think im gonna start doing dedicated readers so IM me and ask to be one. Tomorrows the last day of school before spring break so I think i'll up date a chapter then but I think im only gonna update one or two new ones over the break cuz ill be kinda busy. I hoped this plan would work. I decided to wait until my dad got home and see what he said about mom not letting me come out. I figured since i was "daddy's little girl" he would say yes. but he had other plans.

"Hey, hun! Im so glad you home. Jude and I got into a little fight." Mom said as dad walked through the door. He looked tired, and was already undoing his tie.
"Hi. Not already! I just walked thorugh the door and i'm already dealing with problems." Dad replied.
"Im sorry. I just need you to talk to her. But DO NOT give in to her guilt trips. You know you always do that! Tell her that education comes first." Mom sounded serious.
I was watching through the railing of the steps. Dad agreed to come talk to me and had already started up fo rmy room. I ran back and quickly sat at my desk adn started typing as if i was doing a paper.
"Hey, hun." Dad said.
"Hey, Dad. Just finishing up a paper for Chemistry. How was your day?" I tried to sound liek nothing was wrong. But i definetly had some plans up my sleeve.
"It was good. Mom told me you guys got into a little arguement. She gave me a big lecture about not giving in to your guilt trips or whatever but I say, just go! You only have one life to live SO LIVE IT! Do your homework when you get back and if mom asks tell er you finished it. Love ya, sweetie." He kissed me on the forhead and went to his room.
Wow, that was easier than i thought. I text Adrianne telling her that i was on my way. This was gonna be fun!
