Chat Commands

Basic Controls

There are many ways to control your character.  Here is some of the more important ones.

• W,A,S,D or arrowkeys to move.
• Hold down mouse right button and move mouse to change angle.
• Use mouse wheel to zoom in and out.
• Press the letter Q to run automatcally and press Q again to stop.
• Press E to toggle run/walk on and off.
• Press enter to use chat window.
• Press esc to view main menu. 

Attack Controls

Here are controls you will find important in combat.

• Press 1-9 to use the corresponding action at the bottom of the screen.  Just drag and drop spells, items, or anything with an icon to one of the hotkeys.
• Press F1-4 to scroll through the actions at the bottom of the screen.
• Press CTRL to toggle combat mode on/off.
• Press Insert to toggle rest on/off.
• Click on an enemy to fight while in combat mode or double-click on an enemy to fight while not in combat mode.

Advanced Controls

Below are ways to open windows mostly from the icons at the bottom of the screen.

• Press T to toggle the chat window on/off.
• Press U to toggle the quests window on/off.
• Press I to toggle the inventory window on/off.
• Press O to toggle options on/off.
• Press P to toggle party/clan/friends window on/off.
• Press H to toggle help window on/off (but for now it doesn't work).
• Press L to toggle events on/off.
• Press C to toggle character information on/off.
• Press B to toggle powerbook on/off.
• Press N to toggle actions window on/off.

There are various chat commands that are shortcuts for other actions.  To use these type in any chat window one of the following commands exactly.  This includes capitals and punctuation, too.  When typed, commands will not appear in the chat.  If you want to talk about a command put a space before the command and it will show up in the chat but not use the corresponding action.
