It is just heart breaking. Yet again we are forced to
suspend play on our fields today. Rather than getting a chance to
drain/soak in/dry, the fields have been receiving even more rain almost
continuously all weekend. More showers are predicted through this
afternoon. If conditions were bad yesterday, then the rain throughout and
since have only made things worse. Our fields just do not drain very
well.
We are close enough to the end of our season that some damage would
not be a lingering issue, but it really does come down to the safety of our
players. The chances of individual injury or unintended collisions
between players due to poor footing are simply too great.

patience on conditions that are obviously well out of our control.
