WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17
Happy holidays everyone! Christmas is fast approaching but that hasn't put a damper on Regency's activity level. There is currently an ongoing activity check in the chat - please reply to it ASAP so the member directory can be updated. Starting tomorrow there will be a summer ball at Almack's for all of the nobility. It will run until Sunday and everyone is encouraged to participate. Next month there will be a fall harvest celebration for the commoners. In addition the ban of nobility HAS been lifted but if I see everyone joining just aristocrats it will be put back in place. Diversify, people! As always a big welcome to all of our new members and keep writing!!
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13
Three months since the last update, but thankfully that doesn't reflect our activity level! With 19 members Regency is as thriving as ever. There are a few new rules that can be found on the Legislation page. The biggest change is #11 that says you may only play ONE duke. Everyone must comply to this rule by the end of the month. We are also not currently accepting nobility. These changes should serve to even out the game between nobility and commoners and make everything more realistic. We also have a new timeline! THURSDAY, AUGUST 21
Well summer is winding to a close but Regency is the busiest it has ever been. Kudos to everyone for their posting and a big welcome to all the new members!! As you may have noticed on the join board we are currently NOT accepting women or nobility. Occasionally you will see restrictions like this in order to keep the game even. On a brighter note tomorrow (friday) marks the start of the Edinburgh Festival, a carnival of sorts for all the commoners that will run in the SL Chat until Sunday at 9:00PM. SUNDAY, July 27
Surprise! I decided that Regency needed a new look for the summer. Hope you all like it! Maybe it will even draw in a few new people... Keep your fingers crossed! As you will notice not all of the boards are up and running yet; I will finish those throughout the week. The same goes with pictures and links colors, etc. Just be patient and I would love to hear suggestions/comments on the OOC board. This is as much my game as it is yours. <3
MEMBER OF THE WEEK: Kryptonite is our new member of the week. A veteran of Regency she has recently returned after a brief hiatus and was greatly missed during her absence. She currently has six characters which are very active in Regency and can be seen here.
CHARACTER OF THE WEEK: This week's character is Evangeline Howard, the nineteen year old widow of Arthur Howard. She has two children by birth, Edmund and Myles, and is the stepmother by marriage to Kain, Ophelia, Keegan, Annamaria, Cole, and Graeme. An independent woman with a mind of her own, Eva is currently seeking revenge on the entire Howard family for making her life a living hell.
