These are my Dolly Peg Mice. They measure approximately 5 to 6 inches in height.
They were made ten years ago from round topped, split wood Dolly Peg clothes pegs (like the gypsies used to make and sell). I cut and glued peices of coloured felt on to the peg frames to achieve the head and legs. Pipe cleaners covered in felt were used to make the arms. The mice were then dressed from scrps of material to achieve the desired results. Some accessories were bought from Dolls House shops but most of the accessories I made myself using self hardening wood grain clay.
The three mice pictured below are "The Flower Girl", "The Lady of the Lamp" and "The Victorian Lady". The flowers girl's basket was home made out of a scrap of hessian, her hat and the lamp in the hand of the second mouse lady was hand made using self hardening clay.

These are "The laundry lady", "The Maid" and the "Flower seller."
The iron carried by the laundry maid and the hat and basket of the flower seller were hand made.
