Professional Spey Caster Will Turek will once again instruct a

3 1/2 hour clinic where he will work with each student on

effectively using a switch rod.

For the past month I have been working with Emily Greenfield from

Recreational Therapy of Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana. The goal was to teach Emily

enough about fly fishing where she was comfortable in offering a fishing program to patience of

RHI. I was so impressed with her dedication and level of commitment I wanted to share her story with

At edge of town you will cross SR 26 (CR 400 S)

Go 1/2 mi IWL is on left

Private small stream trout fly fishing in the Alleghany Mountains for brook and brown trout. Front door accessible and easy wading stream which ranges from 6 to 20 foot in width and 4 foot in depth. Perfect fly fishing pocket water and boulder pools, with major under cut banks. Historic embankments built during the 1900’s when monks were teaching Christianity to the native Corn Planter Indians are along the stream. Classic 3wt and under fly water and small rods in the 6’6 to 7’6 range are best suited. Stream is in a wild setting and casting in tight places is necessary at times. Beginners will be able to excel in casting abilities and fly fishing knowledge, while senior anglers will find a challenge during their stay. All anglers will have many opportunities to catch trout, and no time limits are placed on fishing during your stay. Over 1 mile of private water for the group to enjoy during their stay.  Club Package description posted below.   

 

2 days Private Guided fly fishing for Brook & Brown Trout between 8 and 20 inches

Includes all equipment, flies, tippet, and photography (Saturday-Sunday)

Only Waders and PA license required by guest. You may bring your own rod outfits & flies.

To excel as an angler using own equipment  is beneficial, but not required.

 

3 days lodging with All Meals included Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner-snacks each day

Lodging is a stream side rustic Amish style cabin constructed completely of hard woods.

Indoor facilities, two anglers per bedroom (bunk style), satellite TV, full kitchen,

20 foot balcony over looking the trout stream. (Friday-Saturday-Sunday)

 

2 evenings of after dinner fly tying classes with focus on trout fly patterns, you will need your vises and tools,

 all materials will be included. (Friday-Saturday)

We welcome men and women of all ages, beginner or advanced, and meet weekly with scheduled excursions to various fishing locales in Indiana.
