Award Announcement:
MathCounts - 2nd place team in
Chapter and State competitions (team students are Timothy Chan,
Aaron Garg, Andy Tsao, Rolland Wu).
The students for Chapter individual competition are Aaron
Garg (Countdown 2nd place), Andy Tsao (4th
place), Rolland Wu (Honorable Mention, Countdown 3rd place),
Timothy Chan (Honorable Mention), Albert Gu (Honorable Mention),
Jocelyn Ye, Raphael Kung, and Angelina Lee.
The students for Northern California State individual
competition are Timothy Chan (6th place), Aaron Garg, Andy
Tsao (5th place), Rolland Wu (8th place, best
7th grader).
From the Redwood MathCounts class, the top 10 students
receiving a trophy are Aaron Garg, Andy Tsao, Timothy Chan, Rolland Wu,
Rahul Thakker, Albert Gu, Jocelyn Ye, Raphael Kung, Angelina Lee, and Connie
Shang.
Receiving a medal for getting at least 75% homework points and with
full attendance are: Jonathan Chen, Kavya Nagarajan, Sahana Rajasekar,
Saniha Shankar, Gautam Srinivasan,
Richard Tang, Brian Tsai, KarenWai, Guo Zeng, and Michael Zhang.
