Redwall Rattery

Breeding for wheaten burmese and related colours.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the temperary home of Redwall Rattery while we finish up with our flashy new Rattery site!

My name is Sarah Downham, and here at Redwall I breed fancy rats of the variety Agouti Burmese also known as 'Wheaten Burmese' and shall also be having kittens in related colours [black, agouti, siamese, burmese.] We also are blessed with rex furred kittens and dumbo earred kittens in our litters.

The Rattery is located in Exeter, in Devon where I have spent 6 years of my life so far! I have kept rats since 1996 starting with 3 gorgeous rescue does Monica, Rachel and Phoebe. My love for Agouti Burmese began when I became the owner of my lovely Ivy last year. Unfortinately I lost our beautiful Ivy in August 07, she rests in peace knowing that she is responsible for my inspiration.

I became very interested in the burmese varieties but my love was maintained particularly for beautiful light golden rat!

For many years I have wanted to dedicate myself to a variety and it eventually became clear where my heart [and luck, due to magnificent support in the form of other breeders] was leading me and I decided to concentrate on the variety, and my aim to spread the love, as literally as I could in the form of friendly, healthy, beautiful kittens.

I am a member of the NFRS, but the name Redwall is not registered as a stud name, just for recognition of the rats bred by me.

If you would like to contact me for any reason, please feel free to email me at redwallrattery@hotmail.co.uk

Many thanks, Sarah Downham
