Hmmm...well...i started REALLY seriously cosplaying when i was 13, but if you want to get all technical; i started cosplaying when i was 11. The first cosplay i did (when i was 11 that is) was Inuyasha from Inu Yasha. But, if we're talking about seriously sitting down and planning a cosplay out and not just goofing around like an idiotic 11 year old (haha..i love how i make fun of my younger self XD) then my first cosplay was Haruko from FLCL (a.k.a Furi Kuri OR Fooley Cooley) when i was 14! I wore that costume at my first convention ever which was Anime Boston 2004! YEY!! I less than 3 Anime Boston! ^_^

RuzaiRinoa cosplay, cosplay, cosplay... One of the great wonders of the world, ne? XD When DID it all begins for me... I don't have that many costumes as of yet... I cry as I say this... It all started in 2nd grade I suppose.. The "wanting to be just like that." I would dress up everyday like Crono from Chrono Trigger.... People thought I wanted to be a boy... NO! I wanted to be CRONO!!!!!!!!!!! Either way I look back on that wondering why i wore a belt over a blue long sleeved shirt...Probably because... I'm wicked cool... Just probably...

What Conventions Do You Attend?
So far, we only attend Anime Boston and Otakon. Fayt attended Anime Boston 2004, Anime Boston 2005, Otakon 2005, and Anime Boston 2006. Rinoa has attended Anime Boston 2005, Otakon 2005, and Anime Boston 2006. We plan on attending Otakon 2006 (sexy female j-rock Vash will be reappearing from Rinoa and sexy female j-rock Knives will be premiering from Fayt!). We usually go with a few friends each year and Fayt's mom rocks so she tags along too with us at Anime Boston! w00t! Well, she kinda just..drives..and then dissapears in to the abyss of Boston as we prance around the convention halls and have fun haha. Rinoa's parents are awsome too and take us down to Otakon! But they kinda do their own thing too..lol. So it's not like we're being babysat people, c'mon be realistic -.-;;;. ANYWHO! At Anime Boston 2004 Fayt went with her sister Celsi, one of her best friends Amber, and her mommeh! Anime Boston 2005 drasitcally got larger in the number of people though ^^; we had Fayt, Rinoa, Celsi, Amber, Dan, Lindsey, Matt, Adam, Dyllon, Eddie, and Fayt's mom (zOMG thats...11...we go from 4 to 11?!?! wtf...) Fayt, Rinoa, and Dyllon (bleck..Fayt broke up w/ Dyllon because he's retarded and is now going out with the best guy in the woorrrllddd!!! Pat ^.^) all hung out though, everyone else kinda went other places at the Con. XD haha yyeaaa..and then Otakon was effin awsome. Fayt actually rode on a train with her sister down to PA to meet Rinoa (yea, thats where she lives, so far from me! T_T) and we went with Rinoa (^__^), her mom, her dad, her brother, her brothers girlfriend, and kat! Rinoa, Kat, and Fayt ended up separating from the rest of the group as we went on a fanboy booty search!! No j/k lol i had a bf then i would never do that while i wasn't single--ok we're getting off track!..Celsi hung out with us for a little while, but then she kind of went off and hung out with Digi and France (AH! I'm so happy we met them! much love you guys! ^_^) So, basically, Anime Boston and Otakon will be the same as next year (people wise, the fun with be x10 it was last year! AHAAHAHA!!!!). Do You Enter Masquerades?
YES! we entered one last year actually at Anime Boston 2005! It was our first masquerade EVER ^_^ Fayt was Yuna from Final Fantasy X-2 (her Gunner dressphere form) and Rinoa was Rikku from Final Fantasy X-2 (her White Mage dressphere form)! We were in it with a bunch of other people X_X zOMG we're gonna HAVE to list them..lol Anime Boston 2005 masquerade skit -ExileFayt : Yuna [Gunner] from Final Fantasy X-2 -RuzaiRinoa : Rikku [White Mage] from Final Fantasy X-2 -Sarai : Lulu from Final Fantasy X (Sarai is the one who had the idea! We actually found a thing on animeboston.com a few weeks before the con. where she was offering to have any Final Fantasy characters in her skit. We were so happy so we asked and she said we could! uber w00tness! Well now we're like awsome friends! aahhh it was greeeaaat...Sketch told me Thursday morning that he didnt finish his costume...so naturally i wanted to still have the masquerade spot. so between MCAS, a band concert, and picking Rinoa up 1 1/2 hours away...i had literally 2 hours to make up, record, and burn this skit on a disc lol i'm SO happy people liked it! here's the script and a video of MOST of the skit! At conventions...there are certain cosplayers you need to look out for...mainly Miroku's though..ya'know...from Inuyasha? We all know you're scheming intent! You can't fool me! So remember girls, and maybe some guys if yaoi is your fetish--Don't let your guard down! They're ready and willing to grope at ANY time!

Advice number two! This is a biggy, everyone knows this, yet barerly anyone does it...BATHE!!!! Please take a shower. No one will talk to you if you smell...you've all heard this from the wonderful and wise Foamy in Rules of the Masses so if you didn't listen to him...listen to me!...Got it memorized?

So, this was basically the most fun we've ever had. Not only did we have a BLAST doing this skit (OH! we thank the person who made the AMV that gave us the idea!!!) but we were also SO glad that everyone liked it! Since that was the goal, she succeeded greatly :) It was awesome to see one judge dying of laughter, and also to win the award for "Best Script and Acting" and when we went up to get the award everyone was screaming "BEER! BEER! BEER! BEER! BEER!" that was definitely the best feeling EVAH! We never thought we'd win anything and we were completely taken back when they called our skit number! We had to collect ourselves before going up on stage XD Thanks everyone!! ^_^!!

Have You Ever Won Any Awards?

as a matter of fact!! Yes i have 0.0; amazingly. I got 3 little ticket thingies from 3 different people at Anime Boston 2005 in the halls and i guess when you get 3 then you get a special ribbon that says you won an award of awsomeness or something like that haha...well..that's the only award i've ever won ^^;; i've never won any craftsmanship awards in a masquerade--yet >)
