Dozens of people in Redditch have joined a new campaign for our council to 'Get Serious' about climate change.

Urging the county council to 'Get Serious about CO2', local people showed their serious faces at this year's Green Fair.
Real action on climate change is needed. Action that will create jobs, slash energy bills and boost the local economy.
We need a serious commitment from our local council to at least 40% carbon emission cuts in our local area by 2020.
Contact us if you would like to be involved with the 'Get Serious' campaign.
The UK adopted a law to tackle climate change in October 2008. This short movie shows how Friends of the Earth did it and thanks everyone who helped.

We are a local group of volunteers taking action on environmental and social justice issues.
Since 2001 we have worked to make the planet a better place for people.

We are one of over 250 Friends of the Earth local groups in the UK trying to make a difference to communities affected by environmental issues.
Our message is simple: "Think Global, Act Local"

We also enjoy social events:

There is a role for everyone:
Some people prefer to be 'armchair supporters', others are campaigners on the 'front line'. You may want to help organise a fundraising pub-quiz or perhaps you want help reducing your workplace's carbon footprint.
