I just got back from tonights game and it was simply fantastic. The
Bay Bombers rocked the jam packed, standing room only crowd with a
thrilling victory over the Red Devils. I tip my cap to Dan Ferrari,
Jim Fitzpatrick and all the others, whose hard work made this a truly
unforgetable event. Hard hitting, speed skating, great team work,
well trained athletes, huge enthusiastic crowd rocking the building
to its foundation, this is what the Roller Derby is all about. Those
who were there know exactly what I am talking about. Those who
weren't, don't miss out on all the excitement. Attend a live ARSD
game and see what it is all about. You definetly won't regret it!!!

Game Coverage Report By Robert Siese
April 28, 2007 - San Francisco, California
As wild of a crowd I have ever seen turned out for a
great game. The First Period saw Lena Wright scoring 4
for the Devils and strong skating by Loli, Bombers lead 8 - 6
The second period had Phil Moore (Devils) and Darrell
Davis (Bombers) helping their teams 15 - 8 Bombers
The Third Period things started getting out of hand
with Mizz Georgia Hase interfering and running up some
fines from the refs. The Refs were Mike Divita, Allen
Smith and Hugh Kindall. Bomber girls were very strong
and ended the period with a 14 point lead 28 - 14.
The Fourth Period had a lot of action and a nice jam
by Rick Johnson and DJ Jackson. They brought the score
back to 32 - 26 Bombers but, not before Richard Brown
scored 4.
Half-time winner of the Georgia Hase Cup - a three women
fan match race was Belinda.
In the 5th. the Red Devils came out charging with a
Grand Slam 5 Points for Sweet Stephanie Garcia.
Great Jamming by Mary Ann Carr Devils 40 Bombers 33. At
this Point Mizz Georgia Hase has racked up 500 Dollars
in fines
.
The 6th. Period the Bombers fall behind but get 5
Points from Richard Brown near the end of the period
46 Devils - 43 Bombers .
By the 7th. Period, Stephanie Garcia and Loli help
their teams and the period ends 55 Bombers 49 Devils.
Both Georgia Hase and Sweet Stephanie are ejected at
the end of the Period.
The 8th. was a hard fought defensive period with
neither team giving much at all. The final Jam was Ray
Robles who ran out of time to score and the Bombers
hold on for a 57 - 54 victory in front of one of the
most vocal crowds ever seen in recent memory
