The first round draw includes division 2 and 3 sides if if Aldershot are going to try make to round 3 and meet the ''big boys'' then they may well have to play league opposition. But if the Shots spirited victory against Forest green is anything to go by then Aldershot should not have much of a problem getting past Margate.

Aldershot have already played the gate this season, a match I went to and we won 1-2 and Jim Rodwell was sent off.

The tie will be played on the weekend of November 8/9.

Dean Hooper and Lee Charles are suspended and Jon Challinor and Nikki Bull are injured. The 'Hants' cup is one of the toughest county cup knockout competitions in the south of england. As well as Rushmoor rivals Aldershot Town and Farnborough town, there is Baisingstoke town, Havant& waterlooville and Eastleigh to contend with.

Farnborough are already through and it will will be good if we get them in the next round seen as they have now turned over a new leaf it seems under Vic Searle.
