General Purpose Anti Static

General Purpose ready for use

Designed for non-porous surfaces, General Purpose Staticide solves static control problems related to the attraction of dirt, dust and bacteria to all environmental surfaces, plastic products and product packaging.

Use for General Purpose / General Use (Ready to use solution for NON-POROUS surfaces):

On a hard surface, 1 gallon of General Purpose Staticide will cover 2,000-2,500 square feet.

1 gallon bottle/4 gallons per case

This General Purpose anti static is light duty solution for low friction surfaces and clear high gloss materials. Used for all work surfaces, trays, tote bags, PC boards, Plastics, Dip Tubes, components, storage bins carriers, packaging, film and hard floors. Does not last as long as "Heavy Duty" . IF material is non-porous use General Purpose

Toxicity and material safety: In ready to use form,  is non toxic by oral ingestion, inhalation, or dermal application: and is not a primary skin or major eye irritant. It is non-flammable, completely stable and will not deteriorate after long periods in storage.

When properly applied, it complies with or exceeds all electrostatic decay criteria established for anti-static performance as set forth by NFPA and MIL B-81705, when tested in accordance with Federal Test Standard 101B, Method 4046. This is a proprietary water-based formulation consisting of several quaternary compounds.

The following specifications generally apply to Genaral Use in its ready to use form.

HEAVY DUTY FORM

Designed for porous surfaces, Heavy Duty  is ideal for eliminating static electricity discharge on carpeting and fabrics.

Use for Heavy Duty Mix (Ready to use solution for POROUS and ABSORBENT surfaces):

The Heavy Duty mix is a long-lasting solution for high friction surfaces. Used for treating carpets, chairs, clothing, conveyor belts, totes and work surfaces with heavy use. If material is porous or absorbent use "Regular" Heavy Duty .

On a porous surface, one gallon of Heavy Duty will cover 2,000 to 2,300 square feet and will last from weeks to months, depending on the application.

1 gallon bottle/4 gallons per case

NEW- Permanent Coat

CLEARLY the best static protective coating for plastics that has never been seen!

This coating gives long-lasting protection and will not wash off with water as an anti-stat would. Topical anti-stats are biodegradable and need reapplication after a few weeks whereas The Safety Shield provides dependable protection by allowing static to dissipate at a safe rate regardless of relative humidity and without reapplication. The advanced formulas are blended from durable polymer materials that are safe to use in ESD controlled environments where contamination is a concern. These single-coat systems are flexible enough for soft plastics like tubing, clamshell protective packaging, carrying trays and lids and they dry with a seethrough clarity that surpasses any ambient cure coating on the market.*

Easy to apply, the Safety Shield can be brushed, dipp , sprayed and provides excellent adhesion to a variety of plastics without any special cure treatment. So defend your plastic parts, bins and shelving against static with The Safety Shield .

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATIONS

Application Method: Dip, flow coat, HVLP Sprayer, polyurethane-foam brush, or trigger sprayer

To promote clarity and prevent specking, plastic surface should be cleaned and dust-free before applying

This ESD Safety Shield. Ideal temperatures for applying coating to plastic are 60 - 75°F in 30 - 40 % RH.

ESD Safety Shield is a water-based acrylic coating. Clean applicator tools with water immediately after use.  Safety Shield #6300 will be dry to touch in 2 hours (7 days for full hardness). Force drying is optional. ESD Safety Shield #6400 requires a force drying of 175 - 195°F for 15 – 30 minutes in an oven. As an option, parts may be preheated between 140 - 175°F for better coverage.

Maintain coated surface with 6001 Mat & Tabletop Cleaner.

*Special formulation is available with surface resistivity < 105 ohms per square
