Rebel Legion UK rocks London at Star Wars : A Musical Journey - World Premiere!
Unprecedented Combination of Classic John Williams Scores and Epic Cinematic Moments Opens European Tour at The O2
Rebel Legion UK were officially invited by Another Planet Touring to provide all of the rebel costumers for the World Premiere of the 'Star Wars - A Musical Journey' event at the O2 arena, officially approved by Lucasfilm Ltd.
Rarely in the history of cinema had sight and sound combined as powerfully as it did in the STAR WARS Saga, as The O2 brought the two together as never before in STAR WARS: A Musical Journey, which premiered there before launching a European tour.
The show featured an extensive selection of Oscar-winning composer John Williams' unforgettable scores from all six STAR WARS movies into an extraordinary two-hour musical event that featured scenes from the movies, live narration by Anthony Daniels and the 86-piece Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and choir. STAR WARS: A Musical Journey is produced by Another Planet Touring, in association with Lucasfilm Ltd.
The live multi-media performance also included an exhibition of memorabilia from all six films, provided by the Lucasfilm Archives, including original models, props, costumes and production artwork.

About The Rebel Legion
If you have a problem with Imperial rule or the Dark Side, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can try...the Rebel Legion! Welcome to Elstree Base - home of the Rebel Legion in the United Kingdom!
Rebel Legion UK is the sole preferred rebel costume club of Lucasfilm Limited in the UK. It is part of an international Star Wars costuming club and home for Star Wars fans, celebrating the saga of the movies using costumes and props of the hero or 'good guy' characters. The Rebel Legion's aims are to support its members by promoting the improvement of the costumes we wear and the props we use to compliment those costumes. We have over 1,800 Rebel costuming members worldwide. The Rebel Legion is a volunteer club, formed back in 1999 to bring together costuming enthusiasts and fans of the movies, giving them a collective identity both online and offline to meet and have fun. Aswell as attending larger national and international events, one of our key objectives is to also give something back to the communities we live in through charity fundraising at the events we attend - large or small.
The Rebel Legion recognises that most activities will be on a local level in each county so our groups worldwide are known as 'Bases'. Base members work in their areas or countries to create that local identity and to encourage teamwork within those communities. The Rebel Legion adheres to rules and guidelines so that we maintain high standards at Rebel Legion activities, our members know what is expected and that this is enjoyable for our members. To become a full member, formal membership age is strictly over 18 years of age. People aged 13 and above however can become members of our forum communities. When those forum members reach the age of 18, they are then eligible to apply for full membership by enlisting with at least one recognised rebel costume. We uphold these standards to make sure that we remain one of the premier Rebel costuming clubs around the world and the preferred 'good guys' costuming club of Lucasfilm Limited.
We encourage members of other fan clubs to join the Rebel Legion, however, we will always remain independent of all other clubs and organisations. We are always happy to share resources, knowledge and members with other groups, welcoming and encouraging work side by side with them at events.
