What Parents are saying about Rebekah:

Even though I had my whole family there to support me I couldn't have
done it without the profressional doula services and compassion
Rebekah provided me.
She was an integral part of my nearly natural delivery and I felt so
comfortable with her there. She truly has an amazing spirit and a
calming nature about her that made the whole delivery process as
relaxing as it could be. She was a real hero to me and my family and I
give great thanks to her for never leaving my side and staying awake
all night to help my beautiful baby boy be born. I cant imagine going
through it without her.

Rebekah was amazing! I called her as soon as I started having regular contractions (around 10-15 minutes apart) and she reassured me that I was at the beginning stages of labor. Since I was trying to have a v-bac I contacted my doctor and he told me to go to the hospital when the contractions are 5 minutes apart. I labored all night doing humming breathing and working on completely relaxing my entire body through each contraction and trying to do visualization hypno birthing which wasn¡¯t easy by myself. By the morning my contractions were at 5 minutes apart so I called Rebekah and went to the hospital. Rebekah got there right after I did and the contractions were so much easier once she started talking me through each one helping me with the visualizations. The nurses checked me and I was only at a 1! I couldn¡¯t believe it! I was so disappointed! In between the contractions she lightly rubbed my back and rubbed my feet and pushed on pressure points and it was actually relaxing. She definantly has the touch and I felt really comfortable around her. She would ask me if anything was uncomfortable and fix it, moving around pillows and blankets. She really understands how important it is to be as comfortable as possible. After about an hour the head nurse came in and notified me that the baby is in distress. With each contraction the baby¡¯s heart rate would dramatically drop and let me know that he probably wouldn¡¯t make it through delivery. I was going to have to have a c-section. I was pretty disappointed but more anxious to get my baby out and make sure everything was ok.. It was going to be a few hours until my doctor arrived and she stayed with me and helped me through each contraction. As the contractions were getting stronger the baby¡¯s heart rate was dropping even more so they gave me something to stop the contractions and they slowed down really quickly. The doctor got there soon after and took me in to prep for the c-section. The cord was wrapped around Rhet¡¯s neck 3 times and he was only 4lbs 11oz due to my placenta not nourishing him properly. Rebekah stayed until she was able to see the baby and know that everything was ok with both of us. Rebekah was so amazing and I really wished I would have been able to experience a natural birth and I know I would have been able to do it with Rebekah by my side. I tell everyone how amazing she is and if you are thinking about doing a natural birth, I would definantly recommend Rebekah to be by your side.

"If I had to choose one person to be by my side it would be Rebekah. I never thought about even having a doula before talking with her.  From the moment we talked I knew I wanted her to be there for my birth."
