ReAsOn 4 HIP HOP© MISSION STATEMENT:
"Teaching God's Message of the Coming Kingdom through Rhymes And Production!" (Col. 3:16-17, RAPV).
As a follower in Christ I am to tell the world that God is not mad at them and the reason why is because God has DONE IT ALL. First He changed US from enemies into His friends through sending Christ to die in their place. And then He gave us the job of making others His friends also. And we MUST tell them that God IS MAKING EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WORLD HIS FRIENDS BY WHAT CHRIST DID, AND THAT HE ISN'T COUNTING THEIR SINS AGAINST THEM ANY LONGER. And He has given US the message which tells people that GOD HAS MADE THEM HIS FRIENDS. (2nd Cor 5:18-19).
I am also to declare to Christ's (Spiritual) Church (THE FEW CHOSEN) that we are of His body and that those (in the Carnal Church, THE MANY CALLED) who are putting up dividing walls in the church that separate us--racial, denominational, doctrinal differences, etc.--are not true members of His body. And we must come out of that (carnal) church so we can get our job done as HIS ONE church, the body of Christ, THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD.
The giant difference between the physically called of God and the spiritually Chosen of God is that the first are immature babes, and the second are spiritually mature sons—having the mind of Christ. If you believe in Jesus Christ, you are in the Church. But if you are in Christ Jesus, then you are no longer in the physical carnal church, but in God’s spiritual Church—the very Body of Christ. The physical Church knows Christ only "after the flesh." The carnal believe that Jesus Christ was "crucified" for them—which is true. But the mature know by experience that, "I am crucified WITH Christ." The carnal-minded Christians "will be saved," but they will not be in the first resurrection, nor will they reign with Jesus Christ as the manifest sons and daughters of God in the Kingdom of God throughout the oncoming ages. Let me assure you on the authority of all the Sacred Scriptures that carnal (enmity filled hatred) minded Christians are not members of the spiritual body of Christ. Jesus Christ is preparing a "bride"—a VIRGIN bride. Our Lord will not marry a whore or prostitute—Mystery Babylon.
"MANY [THE 'MAJORITY' IN THE CHURCH] are called [Gk: 'invited'] but FEW [THE 'MINORITY' IN THE CHURCH] are chosen [Gk: 'selected, elected, chosen out; by implication: favorite']." (Matt. 22:14).
Few realize that there is a "church WITHIN the church." When God chooses us FROM AMONG the called, we become separate from their doctrines and sins. We are still "The Church of the Living God," but we are a peculiar people that no longer follows the traditions of men, which the many called who are building their house upon the sand continue to follow. The Bible in the Book of Revelation refers to the "many called" as "the synagogue of Satan" and refers to "the few chosen" as "the Body of Christ." But Jesus Christ calls both groups in the book of Revelation:
"The mystery [Gk: 'to shut the mouth, a secret or "mystery" (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites)'] of the ... seven golden candlesticks ... the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches [Seven (God’s number of completeness) represent the WHOLE COMPLETE CHURCH OF GOD down through centuries to our very day FROM PENTACOST UNTIL HIS COMING]."
My goal in music is to present GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD in hip hop first to the church, to show them that the times have changed. The biggest influence on our children is what they see on TV and hear on the radio.
I will do this first by,
A. Holding firmly to the truth of the Good News of the Kingdom of God as Christ has taught me, that I may be able by SOUND and WHOLESOME DOCTRINE to:
B. Encourage Christians who are PERSECUTED to continue in the truth of God's Word.
C. Attempt to present the UNADULTERATED Truth of God’s Word.
D. And to CONVICT, CORRECT, and OPPOSE those WHOSE TEACHINGS CONTRADICT the Word of God. (Titus 1:9-11, Concordant Literal New Testament)
For there are many unruly, smooth talkers, and deceivers, especially those who claim to be Christian: whose mouths must be stopped, who overthrow whole houses, teaching things which they should never teach, for the purpose of making a profit. And I will remember always as I attempt to enlighten those whom God is calling, that we are NO BETTER than those whose doctrines we condemn. God loves and DIED for these heretics of the modern Church. They are precious to God—and they had better be PRECIOUS TO US, or we too will receive a great condemnation for feeling anything but LOVE TOWARD THEM! They may be, in fact, our enemies, but Christ instructs us to: "…LOVE YOUR ENEMIES"!!
Second, we want to build from scratch the already corrupted music scene a new foundation which challenges, both mainstream rappers and underground hip hop heads to step up to a level of real artistic lyricism and poetic skills. That it will draw both the commercial and underground from the beef between themselves by seeing music from a new perspective and not the deception.
Last, I wanna challenge all music, not just hip hop to be positive role models in the Lord for their children's sakes. God says,
"For by Jesus were all created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible [that includes hip hop] ALL WERE CREATED BY JESUS, AND FOR JESUS: And Jesus is before all, and by Jesus all things hold together. And Jesus is the Head of the body, the church: Jesus is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead; that in all [including music] Jesus might have first place in rank and order." (Author’s paraphrase of Colossians 1:16-19).
You see, hip hop belongs to Jesus anyway, cause when He comes back He's gonna ask you what did you do with His talents and gifts He gave you, and how you used Hip Hop. To speak the devils lies, or to tell the world about Him and how much He loved us all enough to give us hip hop to glorify Him.
What's it gonna be hip hop?
Who am I and what credentials do I have to support my authoritative teaching on the scriptures?
* I have NO "credentials" except the Spirit of God.
* Matthew was a Tax Collector.
* Paul was a Tentmaker.
* Peter was a Fisherman.
* Jesus Christ was a Carpenter.
* And I? I work at Boston Market as a meat handler.
How are those for "credentials?"
God began revealing His Truths to me last year after I repented of "Leaving my first love." (Rev. 2:4-5). In July 2007 we restarted this ministry: with one paper--"Which Church Are YOU In (The Parable of the Sower)."
I know that many people think I am too hard on Christian heresy & divisive false doctrines. That’s because I love them. Would you not show a little "hard" tough love to your children if they were taking mind-destroying DRUGS? Well it is my opinion that Christian heresies & divisive false doctrines are mind-destroying drugs as well. This ministry is a love/hate ministry -- love for all God’s creatures and hate for all the spiritual mind-destroying heretical & divisive false doctrinal drugs out there on the streets and on the air waves around the world.
God doesn't need your help, my help, a missionary's help, or anybody
else's help to save His children. God does use teachers, pastors, etc.
to acquaint people with His Word. But this is a privilege for us, not a
necessity for God. Remember the Scripture, that God can "raise up
stones" if needed (Matthew 3:9).
