I've been very busy lately, which is why the site has not been developing much. I apologize for that. In an effort keep the site running without creating too much work for myself, I have decided to narrow the scope of it. As of now, this is a site for historical fiction set in the British Isles. No more ancient history, American history, Chinese, Indian, Italian history, etc... Its simply too daunting a project for me to take on right now. 'm sorry if this is unpleasant news for any of you. Someday, perhaps, I will have time to restore the other pages.

avid reader of historical fiction, I have often found it difficult to
find the "perfect" book. Oftentimes, online bookstores contain
incomplete lists of their historical fiction inventories. I therefore set about creating ReadingHistory. Originally, I intended to compile a list of novels set around the world. Finding myself increasingly overladen with work, I've had to narrow the scope of the site to just those novels that take place in the British Isles.
ReadingHistory
is currently in its infancy, but someday I hope to be able to offer one of
the most extensive historical fiction resources on the web.
