The Red Deer and Area Newcomers Club is a social club open to ladies who have moved to Red Deer within the last three years, or to those who have experienced a major 'life change' (such as divorce, retirement, a new baby, widowhood) in the recent past. We offer activities and opportunities for our members to get to know one another and our new city a little bit better, and to have a lot of fun in the process! We are primarily a ladies' group, but we also offer events for couples too.
We hold our monthly executive meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the ABC Country Restaurant-2085 50 Avenue East side of road (across from Home Depot). Immediately following the meeting, we have a meet 'n greet for our members and potential members. This very informal coffee and chat begins at about 7:15pm, and is a great way to check out the club No need to rsvp for the meet 'n greet - just come on out!
A fee of $20 entitles you to a full year of membership. You will receive a monthly newsletter which will keep you informed of all Newcomer activities. All potential members are welcome to attend two events before purchasing a membership, so come on out and check us out!
