rays model aircraft site

Well I have been interested in model aircraft since I joined the RAF in 1959. I have built several aircraft and for the life in me carn't remember a lot of them only the ones that seem to stick in my mind like the Cessna 172H,Cloudhopper, Archie, Hunter, Thingamajig,Rudderbug.

My own designs were the Hunter and another which was a cross between a Beagle and another type which flew very well indeed straight off the drawingboard, only it received cat 5 damage when I tried to do a Limbo under some goal posts.

I am with a local model club known as HOSMAC and we have sole use of a very large piece of land from which we fly.

I am married to my wife Jane who supports me in my quest to fly model aircraft.
