30^th October 2009 - Malta National Poetry Competition, Raymond Grech wins First-prize and Honorary Mention Award for 2009 with his poems 'Intelligent Design' and 'Remeber I' respectively in the English language category.

• 31^st December 2006 awarded the Editor's Choice, Published Poet Ribbon Award Pin by International Library of Poetry for the poem The Hoary Head.

1^st May 2007, Raymond Grech is chosen to represent Malta with four other Maltese Poets in the European Poetry in Motion® project. An EU commemoration in Washington, DC. 135 European Poets from 27 member states highlight the languages and literature of Europe, and at the same time support the United States to promote literacy. www.europeanpoetryinmotion.eu
