Advanced - Has fulfilled all above requirements. Unlimited Money, Allowed to have as many dogs as the Advanced member can handle and an unlimited amount of establishments as LONG AS THE ARE ACTIVE! Just reaching this level is an accomplishment, but it doesn't mean that you can slack off. If you have a kennel, it must be updated regularly and hold regular shows. The same goes for all of your establishments.
Promotion/Demotion
Members can be both promoted and demoted by the President, Vice-President and/or any Cabinet Member. To be promoted, the above requirements must be fulfilled. You must keep track of your level and notify the President when you are ready to move up.
Demotion is considered a horrible. Members in the New Level will be given one month to become active, or they will no longer be considered a member. If the then-former member would like a second chance, he or she may feel free to send in another joining form. Demotion is rare.
Money
The only type of payment is a check. Below is an example of a check:
Date: 1/1/01
To: Name of the person whom the check is for
From: Name of the person who wrote the check (you)
Amount: Amount of money that the check is for
Random finance checks will be done. Once a month, I'll pick a few members and e-mail them to see an up-to-date copy of their finances. If they don't have finances, they will be fined substantially, and have to send finance reports to me every so often (amount of time between reports to be decided per member) so I know that member is telling the truth and keeping records.
Time & Aging
1 real year = 1 SIM year
A dog should be no less than two years older than its oldest puppy.
You may not keep a dog at a single age for more than one real life year.
Dogs must wait 1 month before they can give birth.
Registration
No two dogs of any breed can have the some name.
All dogs must be registered in the Mandatory Registry.
You may not change a dog's name once registered. Once it is registered, the name is "set in stone"-minor changes may occasionally be made-such as adding or changing a prefix or the spelling of a name.
You must take your dog to the veterinarian at least once every 6 months.
No More then two litters per year. REALISTIC LITTER SIZES FOR THE BREED!
Dogs Must be at least a year and half to breed.
Importing Dogs
Importation of dogs into DF is allowed and encouraged. However, abuse of this privilege, such as importing more dogs than you are capable of handling, or an excess number, will result in having it revoked at the Admin's discretion. Please use common sense when importing, and don't forget to register all dogs imported.
Please abide by these rules. If you are caught violating them, you *will* be punished!
Requirements
We recommend members to successfully open and run a kennel, business, registry, or association. However, we have requirements for all of them, and they must be followed if you want yours to be approved.
• Your establishment must be on a webpage.
• Make sure that your site it easy to read and navigate.
• Do not use Expage. Geocities,Angelfire,Yahoo,Weebly,Freewebs are GREAT.
• All links should work. A link back to Dogs Forever is preferable
Kennel Requirements
• An easy navigation system is required. Frames, pull-down bars, or links at the top or bottom are all great choices.
• Have a description on one page of your kennel. Include who owns it, where it is at, and what you specialize in. People like to read this!
• Only one main kennel per person. This main kennel may have an unlimited number of divisions, which should be linked to from the main kennels page.
Association/Registry Requirements
• NO OWNING MORE THEN YOU CAN HANDLE! THEY MUST BE ACTIVE
• At least 6 events must be held by an association or registry per year to be considered active. Should more than two months go by with no event from the association owner, it will be deleted and may not be taken back up by the original member, and it will be available to any other member of the game.
• To start an association, you must hold a test show to prove that there will be at minimum an interest in it. We also recommend posting on the main forum to indicate your interest in this new association. If you are interested in beginning one, to consider your association in progress and reserved for you as a member, you must have the association ON a webpage and have posted a test show for your association within two weeks. If the test show is successful, you may send in the approval form for your association. If the association is not up within 2 weeks, it may be taken over by any other member to work on, and you may not further 'reserve' that association. .
• Do not create an association/registry for something that is already used.
• Associations/Registries should have a lot of information about their breed or discipline, as well as a nice navigation system.
Business Requirements
• Your products/prices should be realistic.
• Your business should be competitive with others similar to it. Deals of the month, sales, and clearances are great ways to achieve this.
Any website MUST display a visible disclaimer on each page. The disclaimer must indicate that the website is part of a simulated (fake, pretend) game.
