My Life Journey

Welcome to my personal website! My name is GERARD RAVASCO. People call me "Gigi" for short.

My Life Story   is a section in curriculum vitae format. It briefly describes my origin, my training and my commitments. It contains My Home, My School, and My Work

 Journeying  is my personal travelogue started when I arrived in Cambodia in 1999. It is a series of my own reflections of my life in this new place I have begun to call home.  It is not meant to be a detailed chronicle nor a deeply thought-provoking series of reflections but only "simple thoughts in a not so simple world" for simple living that could carry me along my journeying.

Sounds & Sights of Journeying   is a companion blog which contains video clips of events that happened and people I met along my life journey in Cambodia.  It is an amateurish attempt of capturing the moments of being there in the ordinary events in an extraordinary way.

Sometimes   Along the Journey   one sees and picks up a lot of little things.  These little things arouse your curiousity.  They cheer and perk you up. They make you reflect.  They keep you enthusiastic along the road.  They're life's little secrets.  They give you strength along the journey.

This section Along the Journey is a collection of tidbits of thoughts of others (poems, sayings, write-ups, essays, reflections) that I happened to pick up along my life journey.
